10 years of FIFSo if we beat Lazio we have 2 more derbies to squeeze into our schedule and then potentially another derby w/ Juve in the final. Not gonna lie, if we lose to Lazio I'm not going to lose any sleep over it

They still have no midfield. They are just looking to become a worldwide brand again. Kyle walker, pulisic, Felix, trying to get rashford etc. they are not a serious club right now. They’ll sparkle and look good on highlights but the actual team will consider playing great one week and awful the next. They’re gonna become Manchester United southeast.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFMilan might finally be a worthy opponent for us. We have lost 2x and drawn on 92' minute ( obv the match sitautions were totally opposite, should have won that game)
They are chopping and changing so many players Inzaghi can't even properly prepare against them nowadays. Next time they have Felix and Gimenez and Inzaghi will go crazy with tactical team talk to our defenders lol.
But we should face Lazio and what comes next with hunger. We were the better team in the last game and they used the opportunity in Cup final where we were weakest , without plenty of key starters. When we have our best team ( and better luck) we can beat them no doubt. Just look how Conceicao feared Inzaghi and he played accordingly, very defensive and cautious.
Imagine if they draw us together in UCL too, its gonna be a serious fight and nobody would want to be defeated in UCL in a city derby let me be that clear. Milan or us. A minimum program would be losing one of the battles. 1 for each.
Losing both h2h would be absolutely demoralizing , we would fold in the scudetto fight in no time imo.
Gotta just rise to the challenge and Im sure our guys are battlehardened by now. Do you think Milan wants us in the UCL lottery , hell no, they would probably prefer Arsenal too.

You'd always want those big nervewrecking matchups, the worst thing would be watching Lazio in semis and ruing their stupid defensive mistakes and giving Conceicao a free pass to the final. 10 years of FIFI feel you. Milan is one hell of a team that destroys you mentally. They aren't prime Real or Barca whom gave the feeling "too strong for us and we deserve to lose". But a team rolling with insane amount of luck that piss you off in case of defeat.
Imagine last match without De Vrij equalizer... one slip-up from Hakan + one shot on goal; versus 3 disallowed goals + 3 post hit + 1 penalty denied but still lose. Gotta ruin my whole week.
Don't know how it goes in Italy, but where I live Milanisti are unbearable. Arrogant + delusional. Way worse than Juventini in the past decade.

10 years of FIFits not even that i dont wanna face Milan, but if the teams goal is Seria a and the Champions league, then we really don't need more games, so if we don't beat Lazio, i won't really care that much.

10 years of FIFYeah, the issue for me is there's Air Conditioner against us in the semis. Inzaghi wants to really beat them so he's not gonna use full bench squad against them. Which might compromise our Serie A campaign.

Most Improved MemberThis is making me wonder quickly what happens in the event of a double. I guess then it's the 2nd and 3rd placed teams that go as well?
Imagining the Saudis being pissed if for a 2nd time in three years the Supercoppa is Inter and three undesirables because both Milan and Juventus failed to qualify. And as the wonderful voice of Italian football to English speakers was quick to remind us about several times during the Supercoppa, Inter is essentially an "undesirable" too.
