Conte just confirmed kvara is leaving. It's probably the most realistic pathway of him leaving for the mentioned pricetag we are asking, although there were reports we are not considering napoli as an option. We'll see in the next few hours, I reckon...

I get why were asking for 45 mil I just dont see how we get it. We bought him for around 30-35 if I'm not mistaken and he's seldom played here. He clearly doesn't have a role under Inzaghi and teams know this. His value is only going to decrease over time. The second I get that 35 back, whether it's Spurs or Naples I'm taking it and running. He's 25 so he really doesn't have a ton more room to improve unless he's a late bloomer. I am more focused on what makes us better and not Napoli. Getting rid of a player we seldom use and reinvesting in Ricci is the right move imo. Does he even get into Napoli's first team regularly? Mctominay, Anguissa, Lobotka, etc. I dont see him getting into that team consistently. Lobotka and Anguissa are just better footballers imo and Scott is basically Frattesi with better defending.
This is total nonsense. Players can improve throughout their entire career in most aspects. Sure some physical aspects like pace and reactions might decrease at certain points, but other aspects like positioning, awareness and tactical understanding only improves with experience. No player is the finished peak product at 25, especially in this day and age where alot of players play well into their mid 30's at a very high level.
Fratessi has 11 goals and 8 assists in 2500 minutes overall for Inter, thats quite good. I recon thats part of the reason why the club thinks they can get a higher price for him.

None of those things are his biggest problems though. His biggest problem is the lack of technique and feel for the ball and the game itself around the middle of the pitch where most mezzalas should operate. Those are not the things you can drastically improve past 25 imo which is the level of improvement he requires to play the system he is currently a part of. Those things are learned in primavera age, so he is done and dusted player in that sense.

This is absolutely something you can improve with experience and proper coaching. Mental aspects can be developed your entire career, but ofcourse not everyone have equal amount of football IQ so the ceiling varies.
As far technical aspects goes, its also a fallacy to say that you cant develop after 25, each individual is different. Plenty of players learn new traits later in their careers with new positions and roles etc.
I also dont even think Frattesi is that bad technically, but he is out of sync with the team, his positioning and decision making is poor (both which can be improved), he looks like he doesnt know what to do and thats a big part of the reason why he makes mistakes. I dont know if thats down to poor coaching or that he is simply not there mentaly yet, some players take a longer time to learn and adapt.
Either way we cant wait him, if a good offer comes, he should definitely be sold. We are in dire need of funds to reinforce the team with some quality, rather than the pedestrian drivel we have added for quite a while.
