Most Improved MemberMarotta is known that he doesn't like to keep unhappy players in the club. Most probably Frattesi wants to play a lot more (which is understandable), but this obviously cannot happen in Inter, so all interested parties are trying to find a solution.
I believe that Inzaghi doesn't want to let him go now, because it doubtful how we will replace him in this transfer window, but if somebody pays 40+ mln, Frattesi is gone

10 years of FIFYeah. What Marotta also doesn't want is take someone else's players. We want to handpick our players.
Also what's curious is Frattesi has actually played almost 1k minutes (942min) so far. Zielinski slightly less than 900 and Asllani at only 500. So it's not like he's been some reserve player. But, he clearly wants to play as a starter, so leave he must.
I don't know how much this is about his agent Riso making a scene here.

10 years of FIFHe got involved in 2 goal scoring chances, could not convert. He's still a player that shows glimpses, not a constant, that's probably why coach doesn't prefer him in first 11 and probably won't change this in ongoing season

10 years of FIFWell, he is not gonna say "Yes, Fratessi is fed up sitting on the bench, so he requested to be sold". It's just a standard way to avoid unnecessary pressure.
He simply does not have the technical abilities to be a starter for Inzaghi's Inter. However, I doubt we are gonna sell him this month.

10 years of FIFNot that we should run our lives around social media but Frattesi has posted MUCH less on his Insta this season, and virtually stopped after October. The ideal situation is for him to stay until June and we part ways on good terms. It’s be hard to find his replacement in 2 weeks
