It isn't return of the king. It's War of the Rohirrim which takes place many years before War of the Ring.

If you didn’t like his performance yesterday, you won’t like him as a player in general. Not that he was particularly spectacular for his standards but that’s the sort of solid performance I would expect from him— crashing the box, occasional ball carrying, and a physical presence in midfield.

His physicality in particular is being underutilized. He’s not a destroyer obviously, but the guy is capable of being a huge bully. Our midfield isn’t particularly big and strong— we rely more on skillful players. That’s fine but it does put us at a bit of disadvantage against teams with physical midfielders. Fofana in the super cup caused us a lot of problems for example.

Frattesi is the player that he is and obviously he’s not going to become a DM, but I’d like to see a bigger defensive contribution from him. Maybe that’s from Inzaghi or just Frattesi not doing what he’s supposed to, but it’s a waste of his size.

Agreed. He can be very useful for the squad as a strategy player for some opponents or some moments of important games.

If Barella was this lucky he would have 20 goals a season.
I'm happy that Barella plays further from goal nowadays, because he helps our DM a lot and IMO we play better football because of it - I think this is also the reason why it's easier for Dumfries to get more goals/assists.

Frattesi has different strengths that Inzaghi can use him for, and scoring is one of them.

That movie was a waste of time and money, why make a whole movie that copies most of The Two Towers? And also what's with all the references put in??

With the mythology Tolkien wrote, you would think they would be able to find something new to show, but no :(

I think paradoxically, any team who plays against us would love to have a frattesi in their team because his physicality could be a nigthmare for our midfielders. Not even physicality per se but the way he likes to follow his player and has a lot of stamina he could play a role similar to Allegri's Kulusevski (or was it Pirlo's idk?) whenever he ahd to deal with Brozovic.

Not interested in playing football, just following the regista like a dog, not allowing them to think or find complex passing lanes. Fortunately nobody can do that to us anymore because Bastoni carries the ball even more, Barella drops deep sometimes and takes the regista's spot stuff like that so Hakan has help.

Gotta admire the agent's honesty if it is true, but it also could be some PR shit trying to salvage this mess cause by Frattesi in the first place, even though tbh I don't feel like Frattesi caused any troubles like a true unhappy player would (like he could file a transfer request like kidult losser Lukaku), the environment (locker room) seems to be too good, but he also cannot be extremely happy; he is working at a company where the culture is great, there is good bonus, coworkers are fun, but he cannot get the promotion cause there are no open spots, but it is not like the current position is shit, but he still deserves the promotion, the boss is understanding at least try to give him some more authority and responsibility tie to the "promotion" job type of dilemma.

Also for the mods *** I cannot see the tweet, I had to click the link

Yeah, candidly we've (Vas) spent a lot of time on this and we can't figure a good solution.

His agent reminds me agent of Lautaro in the summer.

I never believed in stories back then and I will not believe now that Frattesi wanted to leave this January.

Of course, there are still massive chance he will leave in the summer if we can't integrate him till then and if he can't integrate himself better to this team.

Agents don't do anything the players don't want or atleast agree to.. They work for them. This is just the agent saving face for frattesi.

If the player's not playing, you can't blame them for wanting to leave. Especially at that age.

Totaly agree. He is in his prime now. Would be sad if He has no bigger ambitions than sitting on banch at Inter.

Look at Mattia Perin, he was such a potential, and he wasted (from the sports aspect of the game) his carrier at Juventus, nobody will remeber him.

What about Wanda? I mean "agree to" is the key word, like I think there are tons of cases where it is the agents that stir up the shit and persuade the player and the player went along with it, which I don't think the player is really the most to blame, like they agreed but it wasn't highly desired, but if someone comes tell you I can make you richer by 4 mil a year, you good? you would be like sure.

Don't have one.

No one is blaming him for wanting to leave, in fact, I think most people understand it. It's the timing and the methods from his agent that are questionable. The thing his agent did this month publicly, if you have any respect towards the club, you do in the summer when there are no games and rumors don't affect the player that much.

Its still the players choice. Agent will come with the proposal and try to persuade but its still the players choice to go along with it. Agents play the bad guy knowing fans are more then happy to blame them and so they protect their asset.

Agent won't go ahead with it if the player says he isn't interested. They work for the player.

I get your point, but I am saying the degree of contribution and the degree of wrong is different, which makes the player less/more hateable.

Think of it like "punishment proportional to the severity of the wrong".

Like faking injury and mastermind behind the whole transfer idea (Cannavaro maybe not mastermind, but ) vs agent said he can get me more money and I just let him handle it?

There are more things you can judge it on, but I won't list them all out.
