Messina defender Alessandro Parisi has reaffirmed his commitment to the club amidst speculation that Udinese are preparing a bid.

Parisi has enjoyed an excellent campaign for the Sicilian outfit and has also reportedly caught the eye of Juventus.

The talented stopper was a mainstay of a Messina side that proved the surprise package in Serie A last term - finishing a credible seventh - and has now moved to play down talk of a move away from Stadio Giovanni Celeste.

''I'm certain that my future will not be at Juve because in that area they are quite well covered,'' Parisi told the Corriere dello Sport.

''Many market forces must change, otherwise, my experience of the Old Lady is limited to the recent Japanese tour.

''I feel really good in Messina. It's true in January Udinese wanted me but president Franza didn't want to sell.

''Recently, there has been other contacts but any agreement has not been found.

''I feel good here. Surely, Udinese will play Champions League but I am happy here.''

Evra isn't what we need, he is not very good overall. It's Ashley Cole for me, with some cleverness, we can get him for cash and Emre.

Juve will never sell him to us. But I have an idea, we can pay Fiorentina to outbid Juve, without them telling Juve of our intentions. Then Viola wins the bid, and we sign him!

Their owner is an Interista, but I doubt he'd do such a thing. The last time a team dared and outbid Juve, they got relegated. WC82 hero Rossi was co-owned by Verona and Juve. Then Verona outbid Juve unexpectedly and signed him permanently. They got robbed in many occassions, and Rossi only finally said that Verona's only mistake was they dared Juve!

Just a question

It seems to me that no one has linked Inter to LBs, also, it doesn't seem our coach or management mentioned the LB position much in terms of tranfers or needs. Do they seem to think that it is a filled position? Cuz Coco sucks, and Favalli is not really that worldclass despite his appearance at the Euros....I'm afraid Moratti feels we are fine in the dept..that is the feeling I'm getting

maybe kily can start playing fullback?
he isnt offensive so much like he was in valencia
he is great fighter and stron man, great on defending. he drives players crazy, and he wouldnt mind playing there, he just wants to play...
this wont happen but...just thinking

great idea, good thinking, in terms of qualities, but remember, inter's problem all these years was putting players in unnatural positons...the reason fora market is to avoid that situation....

That's what's worrying me as well. Lets hope that we would get a world class centre back, which I am sure we will get - Samuel  or ?? Anywaz, I am sure we will get one good one.

But centre back - Not even rumours !! :D

Would it mean that Solari cud play in LB position, after all, it's been said that he used to play in that position before.

But then again, as Mr.Pulsar said - Why play players out of position, especially in our cursed LB position ?? Not saying that Favalli is damn bad, but we definitely need to upgrade there as well.

(1) Pizarro to replace Veron
(2) Samuel /? to partner Cordoba
(3) A very good LB and wow !!

:D :star:

solari was left back but he is pure winger now.
ashley cole was striker, roberto carlos was striker in early days, kolo toure was attacking mid,....henry left mid
so what... everybody knows what are they playing now, no need to put them on other position because they played there...solari is left winger, nothing else!

what bout Zambrotta ?

Juve keep saying that they have 2 sell 2 buy

but d question remains will they sell Zambrotta 2 us ?

this cud be Moratti's big one ....... i earlier thought Rio but the loan deal for Samuel has made me think again

only thing we shud not include Hammer in d deal ...... better 2 give them little extra cash

what do u say ?

i somehow get d feeling it is linked to Juve

possibility 1 : they sell Zambrotta 2 us

possibility 2 : they sell Buffon 2 Real and we move in for Casillas

any one of d 2 and MORATTI is god !

I’d rather have Buffon than Casillas, he's proven Serie A material (Even though I rate Casillas more highly) Someone criticized me for rating Samuel quite badly, well he did have an awful season and you can’t blame it on Pavon or Real's nonexistence backline (That didn’t stop Casillas having an absolute joy last season, he was arguably the best goalkeeper in La Liga, if only he didn't concede so many goals...Thinking about it, Raul Bravo didn't do so bad either)

As far as Chivu is considered, he’s quite good, but he did look like a dummy when ilcapitano out-turned him on the right, it was a constant battle between those two and guess who won? :D I like Chivu, but no way am I gonna be happy on spending any amount higher than 10 million on a so called world class defender...Who would I rate as world class? I have to think about it but two men come to mind, Nesta and Puyol
