So what's the angle here? I don't see it.

Reporting goes Wan Bissaka would want Inter but surely Wan Bissaka knows by now and has known for a long time Inter do not want him. Like who is he pushing here?

Don't have one.
I think you would be surprised how one news pushed at the correct time can have a domino effect on agents, clubs trying to sell, clubs trying to buy etc… These "footballing news experts" have a huge influence on how mercato goes, and i m sure they are constantly used, either knowingly or unknowingly, as "useful idiots".

Of course, but what's the angle in this case?

How is Ornstein pushing anyone in this case? Inter to close the deal with Dumfries perhaps? What's there for United or any club?

Dumfries favours staying at Inter. :D

Do not trust these English reporters, apparently not even Ornstein anymore when it comes to players abroad. He flat out lies there, or then he's been fed by very bad intel.

"Denzel Dumfries does not intend to discuss new Inter Milan deal until market closes. 28yo favours exit"

All the Italian media has been talking for what, 3 weeks, that Dumfries has accepted our offer, meaning they're going to negotiate and find the solution for the renewal. And now indeed Di Marzio confirmed it, probably as a response to that Ornstein shit show.

Why I'm going so hard at Ornstein? Because he should be one of the top, most reliable reporters in England.
Dumfries does not want to stay. He says that he wants to stay. Two big different things.

Had he really wanted, the contract should have been signed already, like Barella. They can afford pens, surely :D You dont trust journalists but you trust Dumfries, that's hilarious. Did you trust Skriniar? The only obvious fact is that his party has been delayed this for like half a year.

We are running out of time. Trust him for a couple of weeks more, then Inter have no other choice but free. Dont forget in January he can sign for anyone, officially.

I mean what else can we or the management do? Lol it's not like there's any concrete interest in him. He's not that great of a player that would warrant team spending any money if they can get him for free. Unfortunately, my stance has been the same from the beginning of this whole renewal, Dumfries holds all the card.

Yeah I don't blame the management. I am blaming the player for lying.

Have done job interviews enough to know "I will work for you" promise means shit :D it means there are better offers expecting but I dont wanna lose the soonest backup option on the table.

What should the company do? Well, interviewing other candidates.

Best option is to continue his contract and put him on transfer next year, maybe he will want to earn money in Saudi Arabia.

when's the last time Man U has been good? 12 years? 15 years? what is the hard on with these players for that fking club ? It's like leaving Bayern to go play at Lazio or Villarreal. I get the EPL pays a lot of money but man they act like Man U wins the champions league every year or has Real Madrids level of success. I mean I understand Real Madrid. You are pretty much guaranteed to win a champions league in your time there and if your their top player you are pretty much guaranteed a balon dor

They only go there because of MONEY.
ManUnited are shit but they can pay more than Inter. Losers go there, winners stay at clubs like Inter who want to win.

They could tell him, if you don't sign new contract until 1. of August, you will be transfer listed and not in our plans for new seasson. But even then, would be hard to sell him for any decent amount of money. To be honest, he is only decent player.

But fuck it. I guess he will left next summer for free. We will survive it, as I sad, he is just a decent player that is easly replacable.

he been linked to so many EPL teams for the past 2 season. He wants insane wages and no team has even offered us 15m for him.

Let his contract expire. If Man U comes for him then cool. Lets not over pay for a just an ok player who is too old to get any better
