Massive kudos to him for making a lot of fans swallow their words including myself. He seems to have worked a lot on decision making and concentration seeing as the physical aspect has never been an issue.

He's been a rock during this left hand side injury crisis, his sprinting in extra time on the opposite flank is insane.

He is the first player whose name my girlfriend memorized when we started watching games together a few months ago and she was so happy when she saw him with the armband tonight. Spent the whole game shouting "look at me, I'm the captain" whenever he appeared on screen.

Suits him very well, always been on Denzel's side, clunky, lanky, giraffe on ice, all you want but his physicality is a problem for every opponent and his mentality is one of a captain. He is the most improved player this season.

So much character last night. He looked super tired at the end, but that's understandable, as he put so much effort and was dominant physically, whether on winning duels or making runs.

Could have scored aswell, if Taremi would pass the ball to him. Would get him into 1vs1 with gk, but regardless, he did some really good runs and most importantly, he's becoming more important by the time.

For all the credit given to Mikhi and Barella for playing seemingly every minute this man deserves his flowers. He rarely breaks down and isnt injured often. The best ability is availability and he seemingly never gets gassed. We need to invest in a proper RWB backup this summer unless Zalewski can operate on the right.

Dumfries biggest asset is his willingness to learn and work hard. he's been very improved tactically. attacking down the space vey well, maximizing his aerial ability, and his decision making has been on point lately. even on his bad days he usually gives 100 percent on the pitch.

He seemed so out of sorts for so long that it was hard to imagine that he could ever get back to the levels he had shown in his first season here. The never-ending contract talk became tedious to the point where I think a lot of Inter fans would have been happy to see him sold off - I was there myself. But from being a second choice to Darmian he has just improved exponentially as the season has progressed and has been the most consistently good performer in this calendar year so far. It's nice he has had this redemption.

It was a different period. Dumfries wasn’t exactly playing great with the contract situation looming over his head. Once that got sorted his form improved dramatically.

It wasn't the contract that was looming over his head that made his form drop. Due to the contract negociation we started playing Darmian over him.
Inter always does shit like that.
