Darmian is kinda done after this season imo. I’m not sure about his contract status, but I wouldn’t want to rely on him next season to play substantial minutes. Maybe we give Zanotti a good look in the summer.

We are so cooked in CL without this guy. Maybe we’ll be okay vs Bayern because of the Davies injury but getting further than that with Darmian as the primary rwb looks near impossible.

Pavard said recently while being interviewed during international break that he’s willing to play RWB if necessary, even if he sees himself as a CB.

I would rather Pavard than Bisseck personally. Bisseck is dangerous going forward but he’s too lumbering to play a full match at wingback. He’s going to gas out way more quickly than Pavard because of his size. Plus, Pavard is already familiar with the role.

I think the players know this is crunch time and it’s not every season where you’re still alive in all three competitions come April. I do want to see more Zalewski. I’ve been enjoying his cameos and he seems to be improving.

The obvious solution is to try Zalewski on the right but we all know Inzaghi is going to ride Darmian til the sun burns out(Or DD comes back, whichever happens first). It's just what he does. I fucking guarantee Darmian will start his third straight game in a week on Sunday despite going the full 90 vs Milan. Darmian was horrific yesterday. Particularly in the first half. I could only imagine if Dumfries got abused like that against Leao what this forum would be saying. It's time to acknowledge Darmians days as a starting wingback vs good teams is done.

Zalewski on RWB role doesn't seem adequate but I guess we have to find out. His crossing sucks tbh, but he's pretty good at striking spaces and taking on opponent.

His end product needs a massive improvement, but I woudn't mind to try him there. Darmian doesn't contribute much offensively either. But the thing is, having both Bisseck and Zalewski on the right flank, might be tactically suicidal. I'd go with Pavard - Zalewski, or Bisseck/Pavard and vice versa.

Either way, I have faith on Inzaghi's decisions. He's still doing utmost with what he's got.

Yeah but he's good at cutting in from the left. He is good at dribbling.
