He had a good game tonight but basically had to do 0 defending.

I never doubted his ability to be at least good enough offensively, but will he be able to defend against a good side that has us pinned? We’ll see. It’s admittedly a small sample size, but he was absolutely dog shit in the Real game like 5/10 level.

I hope he acclimatizes quickly and comes good.

I’m not a “hater.” But saying he is better than Hakimi at this point is ludicrous. He was a better option than Bellerin and Zappcosta by a county mile and came relatively cheaply. I’m all for giving him a chance, but he has to improve his game defensively.

That pass to Lautaro was actually 10/10. Now we can see if that was a fluke or not.

It is interesting to see if he can improve his touch. His pace is about same with Hakimi.

I had a good feeling about Denzel when I watched his highlights before he joined Inter.

It looks like, from the little I have seen, that his center of gravity is a bit higher, which makes you easier to beat against good dribblers like Vinicius Junior. I'm no coach obviously, so if I'm guess right that it's a balancing thing, then one can work on that.

For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to really trust his right foot in delivering crosses into the box. He has a tendency to always cut inside and make a low pass to the middle like one he gave to Lautaro's effort that hit the bar. Nothing bad about that but sometimes I think he always tries to overdo things. Regardless, a good performance and hope he keeps this up.

if he plays like he did today against Juve, Milan or Champions league then awesome we finally found someone who D’Am doesn’t murder

I really hope he is the one. He is replacing a world class player who we flew too close to the sun and lost.

He is just a bigger presence on the field in comparison to someone like Darmian. Who is a hard worker and helps the team but it feels like he’s just an addition by not being a subtraction. He also does score the odd important goal. However Dumfries on the pitch obviously bring a whole different dimension to our game.

This guy has no chill.. He has been only at Inter for one month. Adapting Serie A and Inzaghi tactics. Look Godin and Eriksen, they need at least six months to produce something good. Even Skriniar need one year to adapt Conte tactics.

Being RB and RWB are different. He was RB at PSV, not RWB.
