This guy has no chill.. He has been only at Inter for one month. Adapting Serie A and Inzaghi tactics. Look Godin and Eriksen, they need at least six months to produce something good. Even Skriniar need one year to adapt Conte tactics.

Being RB and RWB are different. He was RB at PSV, not RWB.
he had 2 chances to cross while players were in box and nobody around him but he waited in close games like this one was you have to cross wingers are for that they are not to hold the ball play through passes or what ever 1-2 he wants to do on wings and run and do pull bacl on ground. cant cross can run cant defend what can this guy do

He just needs to be a bit more decisive at times. I think that will happen in time as he gets more and more used to his teammates.

Dumfries does hesitate before crossing/passing sometimes which gives the other team time to get organised and the opportunity is lost. Perhaps that is only coz is still learning the movements of his teammates (and not something serious like the Candreva Syndrome). Hopefully soon he will instinctively know where others are and cross/pass without looking.

This guy should go to Madrid cause Ancelotti rate him higher than Inzaghi.

I think he should start over Darmian pretty much every match.

another positive performance from him. he has the speed and nice acceleration on our right flank. his physicality helps alot when he is on one on one duel with the opponent. we can clearly see Atalanta players are having hard times against Dumfries.

starter next match,please.

I really think he can reach Cafu's or Maicon's level in the long run, he has the physic and speed, along with the good basic technique also he does not do those one dimensional plays, he tries to play accordingly to the situation and teammates, one example I can think of is even for the first match he played for Inter, when he received the ball up front he tried to protect it for possession, instead of rushing for the break through which is more often what he did for the national team. This also explains why he appears to be slow on acting, cause he is trying to read his teammates movements, and he is not familiar with them at this point. His current weakness though I would say is his def skills set you can see he gets beaten a lot and seem quite clueless on how to limit the man he is marking, but at least he has the work ethic for it, which he keeps tracking back and trying.

Hope he starts tonight. Not just for what he offers, but for the rotation's sake I hope both him and Dimarco start against Shakhtar.

I'm wondering why Indzaghi usually starts pairs Di Marco/ Dumfries or Perisic/ Darmian. I mean that former duo is more attacking, so for me it will be more balanced to use Di Marco/ Darmian or Pero/ Dummy.
