For 40-million we should sell immediatly. Dumfries is a good guy and did great in his first season. But i fear we saw the best version of himself past season. This is his ceiling. I think players like Singo, Molina and Dodo would offer the same (or more),in a different playstyle tho, and could be developed into better players than Denzel.

Yeah it's unfortunate we found 2 good wingbacks in a row and have to get rid of them back-to-back. This club can't make progress like this, it's very frustrating.

Don't get me wrong I'd rather get rid of Dumfries over Bastoni, Skriniar, or Barella, but he definitely won me over as a fan this season. He pocketed Theo when they played against each other and he really fought for the shirt.

Tuchel wanted to move James to defense and get a new rwb since last summer. That's why they wanted Hakimi but the player wasn't interested. And with both Rudiger and Christensen leaving Chelsea, this is a real possibility.
