Milito had a great game. I love it when he chases the ball and actually runs to create passing lanes. So far so good for our starting striker.

Diego Milito said:
Milito: "Easy to play in this Inter"

Monday, 27 July 2009 03:07:47
FOXBOROUGH (MA)

Diego Milito celebrated his first Milan derby with goals in each half as Inter defeated the Rossoneri 2-0 in their third and final match of the World Football Challenge.

"A striker always likes scoring, even if it's in a friendly match," said the Argentine, "but today's was still a derby and from my celebration you could see how happy I was to have given my contribution on the pitch.

"It's easy to play in this Inter. It's the merit of the group, of the great champions who have given us newcomers a very warm welcome and have made us feel important since day one."

In Inter's next matches Milito could have a new team-mate who shares his 'habit' of scoring. "Eto'o is a great striker who has lived many experiences," said Diego. "He is very fast and he will make a great contribution to the team. As for me, I will always try to adapt to my strike partner when I'm on the pitch."

The Argentine striker concluded his post-match press conference with a hope and a promise: "I hope to start the season in the best possible way and I will always give my contribution to help the team win."

Well, seems Milito is very stabily with our team, also he is happy for two goals scored against milan, hopefully he'll continue scoring goals in friendy matches for Inter (also in official matches, Serie A, Champions League...) With Eto'o together will make a explode attack, they'll be fantastic together.

Forza Milito :star: !

Looks like we were busy with the Ibra-Eto'o shit and forgot that we've signed Diego Milito. :)

I think he denied all of his haters. "He is not enough good, he must be served with lots of balls, he is only a poacher etc.".

Instead of: he makes dribbles smartly, and clinical in the finishing, moves a lot.

With Etoo they will running the others defence into pieces. :)

:-O

I didn't think he was such a pacey player... add that to his finishing skills, I'm absolutely over the moon and can't wait to see him play with Eto'o and rip all defences open.

Let's not get carried away. Milito is a good player no doubt, but Suazo scored two against United in pre-season aswell. I have high hopes for him though. :)

Hehehehe, you are right, and Suazo scored two goals against Manchester United in that friendly match(also Zlatan scored one goal), but I don't think and Diego Milito will fail like David Suazo, I just want to see Milito scoring goals in official matches for Inter, also have great appearances for Inter, hopefully he'll be one of favourites for top scorer in Serie A.

yeah, this is what I would say about him too. He dribbles when it's needed, he doesn't do unnecessary flashy moves. And I dig his movement overall too, looks promising:thumbsup:

I was really impressed by him vs Milan. He was much more than I expected. I think it's true we've been thinking so much about Ibra and Eto'o that we have neglected Milito's value.

I don't wanna burst ur bubble guys, but both of his goals were so easy to stop and so hard to concede. I think Milan GKs deserves more credit than him for those two goals.

Yeah, I think Milan fans don't want Kalac to ever feature for their team again. Milito made nice moves but the defending and goalkeeping was atrocious to say the least. First it was Onyewu screwing up a bit and Kalac screwing up majorly, then I believe in the second goal it was Abate defending (22-year-old kid, winger).

But it's good to see Milito is also working pretty much, he comes back to midfield to help in defending. It's important to have such forwards.

Heheheh guys, that's not important who was mistake Kalac or Milan's defenders, the important point is Milito scored two goals, in football the one thing what must wait striker is mistake of defender or mistake of goalkeeper. So Milito was great at match against Milan and that goals was good too, I like his moves in 16metres, he is very very intellegent striker and he know what he must do in dangerous zone ;) that's it!

Football is a game of mistakes. Most of the goals come from mistakes, either of deffenders, or goalkeepers. Milito is here to score goals, and that's what he did. I haven't seen a guy in our shirt like that(in form) for years.
