FOXBOROUGH (MA)
Diego Milito celebrated his first Milan derby with goals in each half as Inter defeated the Rossoneri 2-0 in their third and final match of the World Football Challenge.
"A striker always likes scoring, even if it's in a friendly match," said the Argentine, "but today's was still a derby and from my celebration you could see how happy I was to have given my contribution on the pitch.
"It's easy to play in this Inter. It's the merit of the group, of the great champions who have given us newcomers a very warm welcome and have made us feel important since day one."
In Inter's next matches Milito could have a new team-mate who shares his 'habit' of scoring. "Eto'o is a great striker who has lived many experiences," said Diego. "He is very fast and he will make a great contribution to the team. As for me, I will always try to adapt to my strike partner when I'm on the pitch."
The Argentine striker concluded his post-match press conference with a hope and a promise: "I hope to start the season in the best possible way and I will always give my contribution to help the team win."
