I don't see the point to loan him to Verona. He barely played there, just 700 minutes. Verona plays with just one striker and in the last season they had like 4 strikers for this position and in few matches they played without a striker. I think Serie B or a weaker team would be better choice.
Moreover, I thought that Salcedo & Dimarco would be involved in Kumbulla deal and now Kumbulla is gone, so there's no point to favour Hellas.

Well if he'd wanna play a lot he'd have to go on a loan in Serie B or another league. Coach of Verona said he'd want him back.

yeah, they have strong relationship, Jurić allowed Salcedo to debut in Serie A when he was Genoa coach, but it would be cool if Eddie was a starter in a weaker team.

Di Marzio - #Salcedo to the @HellasVeronaFC , loan from @Inter with redemption and counter-redemption.

I guess they can buy him after this season and then we have a buy back option. Something like Pinamonti.

That's a fair deal. They have an incentive to use him even more now. They can buy him if he's good. We might net some plusvalenza next summer, dunno the option price though. Let Salcedo play at Verona for 2-3 years and let's see how it goes.

hope they find fast someone he'll get loaned to. Dont need another Esposito or Pinamonti, being young and sitting all season long... Its also time we get a 4th striker that can be trusted.

He might return but won't stay in the team next season. We need something else than a kid out there.

Corriere dello Sport: Serie B side Reggina are interested in young Inter striker Eddie Salcedo for next season.

Sky (Di Marzio), Corriere: Salcedo close to joining Genoa on loan after getting Vanheusden.

Tuttoshit: Torino have joined the "chase" for Salcedo.

Juric has been said that Torino have too many centre forwards (Belotti, Zaza, Sanabria) and no second striker. What Juric might need is Salcedo (his student from Verona days) as second striker. I would give them both Pinamonti and Salcedo on loan with option to buy :D

FcIN - there is the interest of three clubs: Genoa, where he grew up; Torino of the former coach Ivan Juric in Verona; and Verona itself, where the striker played last season leaving excellent memories.

I’ve never really understood why people rate Salcedo.

I always thought we “helped out” Genoa in the same way they helped us with Pinamonti. But no we actually paid (18? mil) for this loser.

No. It wasn't a favor. It was the period Suning had recently bought the club and wanted to invest on youth. That was one of the reasons they hired Sabatini. Pellegri and Salcedo were considered hot prospects while they were playing for Genoa primavera. We had planned to sign both in 2017 but then Chinese restrictions happened and Suning put everything on hold. They lost Pellegri to Monaco few months later but they came back for Salcedo the following summer and signed him on loan with option to buy. Sadly Salcedo never lived up to the hype.

there's also the usual nonsense there - where Genoa paid 8m for Radu who had, at that time, 1 SErie A & 22 Serie B matches experience total, clearly not worth 8mil.

Of course we end up screwing ourself anyway by including a counter-option for 12mil on Radu..

Salcedo is a good striker, just not Inter quality. I'd have him as a 4th over Sanchez/Pina/Satriano.. I know people are losing their shit over Satriano and he is quality but I'd rather him loaned out for experience. Salcedo has enough Serie A experience to be the 4th.
