Looking at how he gets frustrated whenever he gets subbed out, I don't think he is agree with a backup role.
What makes you believe he's frustrated at being subbed out and not by his contribution?
Dzeko-Inzaghi tension
Maybe reconsider the extension if he`s starting to cause trouble.
Not that I like Dzeko but...we cannot afford replacing the whole attack but one. The new guys will need time to get used to Serie A and if they don't sync, teams double mark Lautaro and we gonna lose a lot of points.
Correa must leave because he offers nothing. Lukaku is too expensive, even under discount, as Chelsea paid too much for him. Dzeko is overpaid too but it is still only a fraction of the Belgium.
Only one year though. Next year we could find a replacement when the newcomer this year fully adapts.
FixedDzeko is God!
Well, this forum needs some counterbalance to FC Lukaku.Oh, cool. The Bosnian fanboys are back.
Burger King Lukaku vs False God DzekoWell, this forum needs some counterbalance to FC Lukaku.
Are we all not overreacting a bit to Dzeko being pissed at the sub?I think he's gotta go, as much as I've appreciated him. You can't expect to start every game at 37yo, and especially can't get upset when you get subbed off for someone 7 years younger and in good form.
Especially for 5m a goddamn year.
With that logic bring back Ronaldo fenomeno and start him in the final. Also lol at saying Dzeko is a better finisher than Lukaku 😂😂😂😂Dzeko is Worldclass Top 8 Goalscorer all time must start a Final. He know the English Football was 5years at Man City.Dzeko with 37 years is better then Lukaku with 29 years.Dzeko score and assist more this Season then Lukaku. He score at Super Cup vs Milan important goal.Without Dzeko Inter dont play Final. He score last games vs Milan CL.If he dont start Inter will loose.Lukaku miss many chances and he will not be seen in the game .Dzeko is better Technical and better Finisher .
Mmm, I've seen it happen often enough. I think this is also an area for improvement for Inzaghi - letting seniority and needing to 'appease' certain squad members (Handa, Dzeko, for example) decide line-ups over ability and form is not great. Are we all not overreacting a bit to Dzeko being pissed at the sub?
Quite a normal reaction for players and if it was only in the moment then i really dont see the problem
Comparing their careers, I would say as a finisher Džeko does seem better than Lukaku. Those Wolfsburg and City years he was a cheat code. Dude didn't even play a lot for City, but he delivered. With that logic bring back Ronaldo fenomeno and start him in the final. Also lol at saying Dzeko is a better finisher than Lukaku 😂😂😂😂
Their careers are uncomparable. You can compare Dzeko with Ibra, not with Lukaku. Dzeko is way ahead of Lukaku. Only ignorants or Conte asslickers see otherwise. But right now Dzeko is old and wasted, Limone should more start Lukaku who regained his form.Comparing their careers, I would say as a finisher Džeko does seem better than Lukaku. Also at Roma, I think he scored more than 100 goals
I'm not even sure Lukaku will have the longevity to score as many goals as Džeko did in his career.
There’s an argument for who the better player in their prime is sure. As a finisher….lol come on.Comparing their careers, I would say as a finisher Džeko does seem better than Lukaku. Those Wolfsburg and City years he was a cheat code. Dude didn't even play a lot for City, but he delivered.

The answer is simple. Dzeko was already wasted and bigger cost at 37th years old, meanwhile correa has lower cost and more younger at 29th years old and enjoying his time on the bench unlike Dzeko who complain too much if he didn't act as a starter. The problem is that Correa still has 2 years of contract left. He has no problem with sitting on the bench and waiting till his contract expires. Nobody will pay for him now, and our best chance to get rid of him is to loan him out.
While at the other hand, Džeko is not even close to the player that he was 3 years ago, not to mention prime Džeko, while he asks for almost the same salary. Giving a 5M to Edin would be a huge mistake. But I can understand our mngmt, if there is no money for one more year of Lukaku, we have to keep Džeko. And find another cheap replacement for Lukaku.
Džeko knows that nobody else would give him a 3M, but is aware of Inter situation with strikers and is looking to get as much as possible from it.
