For me, it depends on the price.

I would keep him as 4th striker with lower salary (Lukaku and Correa out). Clearly Dzeko sees it differently and still wants top money. That's what I cannot accept.

Yea I meant given that he is not gonna renew for less than 3m net. I'd only keep him if he's on 2m

Sounds about right if you can only play less than 60mins out of 90 mins, 3M out of 5M is what you get, but I personally think it should even be lower, like at most 2.5M + bonus.
He should not even be a rotational player, he is just a overused backup player at this point.

Maybe pre-season will do him good because we used him way too much throughout the season. Under a proper regime he can still be useful but that depends on how many quality strikers we'll have in the upcoming season. Of course I wouldn't keep him with the rumored figures but if he is willing to cut his salary (something closer to what @CafeCordoba suggested) then I'd gladly keep him.
