Guys, you know how they're hyping Cristiano after scoring shit goals at Man U and calling him a goat? Should we also be screaming goat when watching dzeko, i mean he is only 1 year younger than cristiano but with the double amount of goals?
I think I have the answer to this question:

Selling Lukaku for that outrageous of a transfer fee was always going to be good business. The problem is 1) the money is not being reinvested into the squad, and 2) we rushed to sell Hakimi for no reason.

Well, it wasn't no reason. At the time, we were desperate for cash and he was the only player with a real offer. If only those Chelsea fuckers had made their offer sooner, maybe we could still have Hakimi with us.

A fucking disaster that NTs can use the players however they want because they don't live with the consequences. In this case Dzeko is dead fucking tired while his club is facing a heavy schedule with important matches coming up.

Clubs need to do something about this, this can't go on anymore.

Benched for who? Lautaro, Correa and Alexis don’t return until Saturday.
For Satriano: just so he can blow up, get called up to the Uruguay team and have his legs broken by Vidal when they face off against Chile.

You have a point on the NTs but then again this is nothing new, especially in the case of dzeko its expected that he ll be used in every game for his NT he s to important for them to not use him.
What i m saying is the thing the we could have done for a quick fix would have been to invest in some depth....
Cant really blame bosnia for playing one of their best players in what are important games for them.
Neither can i blame Dzeko that he want to help his County reach the WC.

Yes I know, can't blame them. The issue is this system, when there are multiple NT breaks all over the calendar.

True but they must do something with the schedule.

You can't just rule out half of the big teams' starting XI, simply because they are released one day prior.

Not a fair race anymore.

I fully agree on that but we ve had this problem since i can remember..... We always hated NT breaks and we always had issues with injured or tired players returning. And that was back in the 90s and early 00s when we had some deep squads.
As far as i know Inter and most other big clubs have been lobbying against those NT breaks in forever and all that happened is that UEFA and FIFA pushed in even more games in those freaking breaks.

Only way to solve this is if football fans would stop tuning in to thoese completely useless games like a nations league final but that will never happen.
If uefa/fifa have to choose between money and a players fitness or a clubs stability they ll always choose money...

No worries about Dzeko, he only played 2 matches during the break and will be fresh for Lazio. So did Barella and other European internationals.

We should be worrying about Sanchez and co. They will have played 3 matches, had a long flight that arrived only 12 hours before the match.

The only thing that could be done is scraping Nations League as it doesn't offer anything and having World Cup and Euro/Copa America/ AFCON etc. every 5 years which would make the schedule more narrow. But then we will have people arguing this will ruin international football in favor of club football. We already have guys like Wenger who want a World Cup every two years.

FIFA is actually going full forward with that every two years plan, it's not just Wenger talking about it. FIFA has bought many former players and coaches to their campaign. What is funny how they don't have any CURRENT player in that campaign. "Funny" because no one wants that shit apart from FIFA who just wants more money. Luckily UEFA and Ceferin will block that shit.

4 years is a good time span, a big tournament every second summer. But they need to fix these NT breaks. Either have some kind of qualification tournaments every autumn etc or then group NT breaks to bigger but fewer ones. Nation's league is fucking dead idea, it's just a money grab for UEFA. No one gives a shit about that tournament. Of course players want to win games and they are giving their all when playing but if there was no Nation's league, no one would bat an eye.

The countries need to reduce their club matches as well. First division leagues need to reduce their teams to 18 or 16 and cup competitions being played in one leg format.

All these many matches and constant travels have a toll on the players and they are the ones who play this game. When they're not at their best it will cause a dip in quality of performance and have a direct impact on their clubs' and nations' results as well.

Agree completely.

These fifas and ueafas do nothing but add more games to the calendar. Quality of the game decreases if there are too much burden on these players. 18 team first division would be the best. 4 games league matches though they would be compensated with more continental matches for the top clubs for sure.
