Woha! what a goal by Van Persie,anyway did not see the first half, was it as bad as second (even althought we scored)?
Pedrelli was a joke, painful to watch even if it was a friendly. Adriano was a disipointment aswell.

Only got to see the second half, and boy was it bad. Arsenal dominated possession and if they were cooler in front of goal they could've easily banged in another two.

Van Persie's goal was beautiful, too.

What a crappy game to watch...I know we had lots of young and new faces but we looked bad.I wont comment on the young or new,just the more experienced as they "should" be looking better...

JC and Toldone looked impressive..
Dacourt isnt cutting it,he just fouls and i am afraid at his age and type of play he will just get worse.
Solari looked ok as he ran alot
Adriano should have outclassed everyone but still he isnt up there to even last season's good days...I am not attacking him,he will need time ofcourse.
Figo didnt add anything when he came in..
Jimenez i heard alot about but still didnt see anything not disappointing from him...

Now some people might say i am not fair or something believe me i am just reporting what i am seeing.Plus Chivu was in his first game and looked better than many of our old names.

Yeah, time for Suazo to start scoring. I expect him to be our top scorer next season so now's a good time to gain confidence.

I expect and hope for the same. I think he has the potential of scoring 20+. He did it at Cagliari (22 goals) in his breakthrough season, not an easy feat at any team, mind you.

Edit: after watching Suazo for 8+ years now, I think today was the first time I've seen him score a header. I was laughing when I saw it.

Good game i think !!! Just what we need to gain fitness!!! You mates have remember that they are much ahead in fitness!!!
The ones eho were great tonight are: our goaleys JC and Toldone ( were jst great), Attila Filkor ( some beautiful passes and loads of work done ), Suazo ( best of Inter Players, did a lot) and Chivu ( had some beautiful interseptions and played without mistakes)
and Jimenez dissapointed me after those talks of his Lazio days
Adriano was ok, cos he has lots of time ahead of him

Before you complain about our defeat: Jubentus just lost 0-2 from an avarage Newcastle squad. Del Piero was the only one who didn't play.

i was impressed with inter today. playing with a squad consiting of mostly players viaing for a seat on the bench for any real game against an arsenal sqaud that was basically at full strength, gibbs and maybe hoyte wouldnt normally be on the squad, they managed to almost grind out a result. also considering that the english league starts a few weeks before the italian league, thus arsenal are much closer to match fitness than inter would be. i thought that when i saw the teams before the match that inter should have lost by at least 2 goals, and maybe we would have had it not been for some incredible keepers. but still, take the game for that, not as a real match.

you can attack adriano for not playing well, but still, no one was getting any balls to the forwards so what can you expect? inter had 2 attempts and scored on one of them.

I was in the stadium today and to be honest it was almost the same dismal performance as yesterday – perhaps a touch better just because we fielded a few more experienced players. That said with a bit of luck we could have even won the game. If only we would have kept our back 4 – but then again it’s a friendly and this is expected. So as I said things started to go downhill the moment we changed the back 4 by taking out Samuel and Matrix, ending up playing with Cesar on the right, Chivu in the middle with another youngster and this Fatic kid on the left. From that moment on you could tell that it’s only a matter of time till they find the back of our net.

Adri is still struggling to get passed defenders, Figo didn’t seem even a tiny little bit interested in this game as most of the time he was either on the ground or arguing with the ref. That said I’m not too worried about him as he is a great professional and I’m sure by the time the season kicks off he would be his usual self.
Suazo was again the most dangerous player we had. Solari was ok, as he fought for every ball and had a good all around game. None of the primavera players did really stand out. They mainly ran around effortlessly without actually making any real contribution to the team.
Chivu was stable as usual, and it was good to see him play from the stand in his first game for the team.

good performance. Considering they played pretty much their first team as opposed to us missing Hernan, Cambiasso, Maicon, Javier, Ibra, Stankovic = all first team players. also considering they start their league in 2 weeks, they are miles ahead of us in terms of getting back up to optimum performance.

So i think it was a good performance. The younger guys did well to hold on well for so long, but it was a matter of time until they leaked. Ashkan, i know you paid your money and wanted to see a good performance but its pre season and expecting us not to change our defence is never going to happen. Cant afford injuries and rotation in these pointless friendlies are a way to go.

Chivu and Suazo are going to be GOLD this season, that picture above is just CLASS. These two are going to make us very strong, they showed glimpes yesterday of why we bought them. Now we will actually have 5 strikers unlike last season when we had 4 with Recoba injured all the time.

Lets now hope Jimenez finds his feet as soon as possible.

Holy shit J.Cesar and toldo were huge !!! And guy s pleas don t start crying over this loss and also I would not read too much in the Players preformaces especially of ou re new arivals like jimenez lets wait till they fully setteld in ou re team and then juge them.

Also it s ridiculouse how these Arsenal fans act they act like they just won the cl and that they now are going to rule the Epl. Even thought they only won 2:1 against a medicore inter!!
