Indeed. It seemed like every moment I was actually watching the match that Empoli were attacking. From the disjointed match I saw, it seemed that Handanovic was indisputably our MOTM.

Regarding the possession: yea it definitely seemed like we surrendered possession but the far greater problem was that we were completely impotent on the counter attack. (And also in sperm count)

Yesterday showed exactly why Mancini has flopped in CL many a times. He's inept as a tactician. He can make his team play good football, but doesn't know how to exploit the other team. He's a one trick pony, and can't deal with different kinds of opponents like Jose does.

Yeah he is slow to react tactically when the game ain't going our way. It took him until the 60m to make the necessary switch to 4-3-1-2. Great defence today, Ranocchia is leading the team at an incredible pace to reach the third spot. We didn't score the goal we needed, but it was just unlucky. We will definitely score that goal we need in future games.

We even overtook Milan on the table, consider that as a great achievement.
