But i'm not convinced with there current squad. Every 4-5 years England comes up with a team and say "this one is it" but then fail at a major tournament.

Listening to what the fans want is the exact reason why the English NT has been a joke for such a long time. WTF has Redknapp done to make you consider he is even worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as Capello?? Capello is one of the greatest managers of modern time, Redknapp has been managing for 30 years and his biggest triumph is an FA Cup.

He is just another Steve McClaren or Kevin Keegan...sacked in less than 20 matches.

He has only won more than half of his games as manager at one club. Tottenham. Where he has won 50.5% of his games lol Besides his great finishes in the lower levels of England, he has not done nothing of note.

England have never really had trouble qualifying for tournaments in recent times (other than euro 2008). There problems come in the tournaments when they choke. Lets see what this almighty Capello, tactical genius acheved.

-other than a breif 10 minute spell they were completely outplayed, outcoached, and humiliated by the germans

Thats bit harsh tbh. They have got few good players like Rooney, Hart, Wilshere, Richards, Cole.

But the youngsters they have now are different from the one they had. Players like Wilshere, Cleverley, Ox, Rodwell, Welbeck, (To and extent) Sturridge all play like a team. They are more of a team players than Gerrards, Lampards of previous team.

Potentially they have good team, but current team is meh except Rooney, Hart, Wilshere, Richards. (Not including Smalling as he is not regular yet).

Obscurity means you are at the lower end of the table forever and are brought up to the top for the first time. Tottenham finished 5th in back to back seasons two years before he took charge.

- If you feel England was outplayed by USA in the World Cup, I will not even bother to discuss this point further because that is a complete joke.

- So if England can beat the shitty teams in qualification, then why do the former managers not have a higher winning percentage? blivious: Capello went through 2 qualifying campaigns and a World Cup and still has the highest percentage ever. Cole is on the decline, but as you said, lack of good LBs make him valuable player. I would prefer Baines though (Given the choice) but he is very experienced player so he will play ahead of Baines.

Richards was ignored by Capello, but new manager will surely select him. He is the best RB in the league this season.
