Damn, Arsenal were losing 2-1 with 10 men and came back in the last 10mins to win 3-2. They're having a decent season so far, thought they'd be doing worse.

He should be given a year or two, this is a total rebuild and you are looking at building with youth and the academy, this sacking shit wont work.

Neither is keeping a manager who is out of his depth at this level.

Liverpool won without playing that well. Bossed the game in the 1st half but lost control in the 2nd, look tired compared to Chelsea. The away trip to Naples may have been the main reason for that. VAR once again gets the right decision, one of the best things to happen to football, I love it.

15 wins in a row for Liverpool in the league and also the 1st team ever to win the opening 6 league games in back to back seasons. It's going to be tough to finish ahead of City but wins like this one are vital. Also a mark of Champions to win when you're not at your best.

Inter 4 wins from 4 and Liverpool 6 wins from 6, going really well for me this season, long may it continue!

MU seems to have the Inter bug. The answer is to keep switching coaches. The first game he loses, you fire him, and hire someone new. Go on a winning streak, and then repeat.

It's nice/nostalgic seeing Liverpool be a top team again, but they're still not on the level of a Barca/Madrid/Old Bayern. They still need a Messi/Ronaldo type of figure or at least a Top 4-5 player like Neymar. They got past Barca but let's get real, they simply pulled a Roma, where they get wrecked round 1 and Barca lets their guard down for a comeback. Ajax got past Real/Juve but they weren't on their level.

Agreed that Liverpool is not on that elite tier, but they are very consistent in Europe which definitely gives them that mental boost.

When you go to back to back CL finals and win one I would say you are on tier with anyone at the moment.

I think for any team to be considered an elite team they have to do it over several seasons. Liverpool are on course to be a top tier side. They have been to the last 2 Champions League Finals, winning 1 of them. They got 97 league points last season, more than any team in Europe that wasn't Man City, who happen to be the most expensive team ever assembled.

If Liverpool can win the EPL or the UCL this season they will be in that top tier. With Van Dijk they have a top 4-5 player, Alisson is arguably the best GK in the world. I don't think acquring any single player would make them more elite, winning more trophies over an extended period of time will determine if they become an elite level club.

Barca and Madrid are dropping in level and with the money involved in the EPL I think Liverpool are in a prime position to become an elite team. They have the fans, the history, the players and the money to do so. They just need to keep winning trophies.

ALL OF THEM
Tottenham, Chelsea and United are very dodgy at the moment. There could be a surprise in the top 4 at the end of the season.

They had a chance to maybe wait till the end of the season and hire someone like Allegri or Pochettino but they went with Ole who did well in the beginning, just because they are going through a couple of loses you throw everything out the window that solves nothing.

Only option u have is bringing in Allegri who is unknown in the PL or Mourinho which the club worked so hard in not supporting his transfer plan when he was crying in the summer then sacked him.

Wow. Fist time I’ve seen the numbers. More losses then draws and wins combined.

Honestly not very surprised this is happening, anyone with common sense could tell you Man Utd has made every wrong move possible since signing Ole full time.

If ManUtd learnt anything then they won't go near Allegri and Jose. Not saying I want Ole to be sacked, just that I don't have hopes on him like I did before.

He has good ideas but implementing is the biggest challenge, which looks like he isn't capable of.

I wouldn't do that either, i was just listing the options they had if they sacked Old. I always though he should have brought in Neville, Scholes or Keane to work with him in training. It looks like players playing there don't have the fire anymore and do work hard enough. Ole is a great person but has always been a team guy and one who sacrifices, he needs someone who is the opposite of him.

It's not a simple black or white scenario. Appointing someone like Keane or Neville won't change much. You want manager who can convince the team and implement the style of play. The problem we have is, players are looking clueless on the pitch and the player in possession is not supported by other players. Right now there is no system, players can't trust each other to make the runs and every move is very forced.

I agree with you on Ole though, he is very nice person and someone who will have club's best interests at heart.

OGS is garbage. If he wasn't attached to ManU, he'd be fired already.

Defending in numbers and playing counter football is not a strategy for winning teams. His tactics suck and he can't implement a system. Not at this level of football.

He should go back to Molde (again)..

I like Solskjær but honestly, I wonder why they were in such a hurry to extend his contract last spring. They could have waited the end of the season, it's not like he was going anywhere.
