  • Chelsea club shop must close, no more match tickets can be sold.
  • Fans who bought season tickets or individual match tickets before today can attend games.
  • Club can fulfil fixtures and pay wages of all employees, including players and coaching staff.
  • No new player sales or purchases will be permitted under the licence, and discussions on new deals for players who are out of contract in the summer - such as men's team captain Cesar Azpilicueta - must go on hold
  • Chelsea can pay "reasonable" costs of travel to and from fixtures but not exceeding £20,000 per game per team.
  • Pay "reasonable" costs towards hosting home fixtures, not exceeding £500,000 per fixture per team.
  • Broadcasters can broadcast any fixture involving the club.

This applies until 31-05-2002 for now. They still pay players and staffs but they couldn't make any deal, like extension or buying. So all out of contract next summer players are 99% going to another clubs. Unless, no more war in Ukraine or UK gov have buyer for the club.

Azpilicueta as well.

Azpilicueta and Christensen will most likely end up at Barcelona.
Rudiger at Bayern perhaps.

None of them were planning to stay iirc.
In theory Azpi could have ended up staying as Chelsea had an option to extend his contract for one more year. They haven't done it yet so now it's probably too late.

Rudiger will probably end up at Real. Or Juve. Bayern are obviously interested but his demands are considered excessive.

So Bayern gets Ginter then since Christiansen was their main target. That leaves the coast clear for Bremer to come to us.

Rudiger to Juventus would be good for us imo. Very overrated player, can only be hidden in an RCB role and I'm not sure Juventus will go with a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 system. And it also means that they're not after other players that we could be using, like Bremer mentioned above or even Milenkovic if we somehow manage to get funding for a 4th center back.

Was under the impression that Azpilicueta already agreed and signed with Barcelona but if not this means that Real Madrid could also consider him.

I wonder if UEFA decides to do what it would have done if this were about another club. Toss Chelsea out of Europe.

Ginter seems to be a last resort for Bayern. Nagelsmann wants him but Salihamidzic, who calls the shots at Bayern, isn't very fond of him. At first, their top target was Rudiger but his demands were considered too high. Then they moved for Christensen but Barcelona beat them and they don't seem willing to match the offer. Now there are more and more rumours about Bayern and Bremer. It's really hard to predict Bayern transfer market as they seem to be very stingy with salaries. They have already lost Sule for free, they don't want to go higher than 10m gross for his replacement while they have issues with the contract extensions of Lewandowski, Gnabry and even Muller and Neuer.

I agree about Rudiger. It's the system that makes him look good at Chelsea. I believe he would suffer in a back 4.

Azpi has a verbal agreement with Barcelona but he had decided to give a priority to Chelsea. No idea if he still wants to do it now.

I've read his clause in Chelsea contract is one-way option meaning automatic extension gets triggered if certain amount of games are played. Same as Giroud last summer. Basically it's just that the buyer needs to pay something to Chelsea, like Milan did, they payed like 1 .

Presume this is 31-5-2022 and is the expiry for the special license for the club to continue operating. They will need another if Roman is still under sanctions by then.

For example Hertha imo has the best hymn in Germany:

I agree with you about "You'll Never Walk Alone", but "Nur nach Hause" is a cover of "Sailing" from the Sutherland Brothers/Rod Stewart and in Hertha's version it's somehow about alcoholism. :D

I recommend Bochum's hymn. The melody is not as great as the one of "Nur nach Hause", but the lyrics are about the region and even football.

The Canaries were probably going down by the 1st of December if not sooner, sadly.
