There probably is no time to re play group stage games with the worldcup around the corner
so they'll have extra rest compared to others

Forum SupporterAccording to today's Guardian, some EPL matches maybe postponed due to Queen's funeral next weekend. The one's which maybe canceled are the one's in London that are home matches. Concerns are about traffic and security. Announcements will occur probably early next week. This will of course lead further backups and even a more taxing schedule for some teams.

Forum SupporterThe Queen's funeral is on a Monday, September 19th and has been declared a "bank holiday", schools are expected to be closed. No word on EPL matches being postponed the weekend prior to the funeral in the report from the Guardian this afternoon.

Forum SupporterYeah, that's the rumor currently. According to Livesoccertv.com the Brighton vs Crystal Palace is postponed, nothing yet on the Tottenham vs Leicester City or the Chelsea vs Liverpool match as of yet. Moreover, the CL match between Rangers vs Napoli has been moved to Wednesday instead of Tuesday according to the Guardian today.
UPDATES: Rangers vs Napoli match moved to Wednesday, will not allow away fans, the same will be true for the reverse fixture. All CL and Europa league matches in the UK are scheduled to go ahead. Only the Arsenal vs PSV match on Thursday is still of concern and under discussion due to policing issues. The Queen's coffin is to lie in State in Westminster Hall starting Wednesday, according to late edition from the Guardian.

Forum SupporterMore Updates: The Arsenal vs PSV Europa league match has been postponed. The current rumor is that Tottenham vs Leicester City, Chelsea vs Liverpool, Brentford vs Arsenal and ManU vs Leeds matches may also be postponed due to security reasons. This is according an article in today's Guardian.

THIS JUST IN: The Brentford vs Arsenal match has changed its kickoff to noon on Sunday and Everton vs West Ham also has been moved up to 2:15pm. According to the Guardian.
