have to say, i was wrong about newcastle. I thought it'd take them longer to make top 4. They're quite lucky this year in the sense that Chelsea and Liverpool were complete fuck ups, but still, kudos

the spending was smart, I also feel like most of the players got proper minutes, they are unpredictable and full of hard workers

The biggest surprise to me is Joelinton. Dude transformed from an average attacker to a strong midfielder in the course of last two seasons.

Also Botman has been a rock at the back. He reminds me of Vidić

He’s replaced by Isak, tbf he’s winger and plays widely, not really focusing on scoring, mostly breaking line and creating space for others. Moreover Newscastle has problem with attack overall, they have low score on top of table.

Absolutely against Ndidi, who is their biggest flop this season. I also lost all my faith in Iheanacho.

Liverpool need a complete reset. This Klopp core is old and in decline. Henry hasn't shown a willingness to spend in a few years now. I suspect we're going to start hearing Klopp out rumors by the middle of next season.
