Just because he's a player on Chelsea's team doesn't mean anything. Interestingly, it was a certain Conte who bought him (as well as Zappacosta)

Before getting to Roma, he was on loan at frickin Palermo from Santos. Don't know how that's better than Dlabert going from Nice -> us or Lazaro going from Red Bull/Hertha to us. Matter of fact, that's worst. Since when do brazilian clubs LOAN talent to european teams?

Also just on n4ls point on Emerson, didn't he have like a decent 6 month spell for Roma and that's basically it at a big club? Think he played decent for a few months for Chelsea and Italy and again thats it. He's already 26 too and hasn't been consistently impressive anywhere

It was one year and more than decent I would say. He was very good for Roma in that season as a wingback. Spalletti didn't trust him but he was forced to use him after Rui getting injured and he didn't disappoint. He got injured (ACL) at the end of that season and when he returned Monchi sold him immediately to Chelsea. So his whole career is one good season at Roma.

Also i m pretty sure he fakes injuries once he empties his tank. He did it more than once with us and last season I watched a couple of fiorentina games and it was the same story. Does a sliding tackle or some shit and immediately goes for his leg, and he can't continue. Carbon copy of what happened here. Cant be coincidence, at least not that many times
