He played Barella's position on the right. He was not too bad, especially in the second half. Also, Hakan said in post interview that he spoke to Miki, who is good and bad on Armenian side. He as wel mentioned that they are friends in Inter and close to each other. That's great to hear then.

Unrelated, but why is Kazakhstan even in UEFA? I get that part of the country touches Europe geographically, but they have no chance in these tournaments. AFC seems so much more logical.

Nothing from Kazakhstan really touches Europe unless you consider the Caspian Sea to be Europe. Which is not. Kazakhstan is a central Asian country.

As for the reason they're in UEFA, the answer is what you'd expect. Money.

There's more money in UEFA than AFC. Their clubs participate in UEFA competitions and not AFC ones, so they have CL money to aspire to. They've managed to have a club there once and they often have a team in the Europa League ever since. And with the Conference League, they have higher chances of getting more teams there.

Kazakhstan doesn't have a chance to play in the World Cup, whether they play in UEFA or AFC.

But they actually have better chances at playing at a Euro nowadays than as an AFC member in the World Cup.

Kazakstan is a diverse country, with good league. Northern Kazakstan is bordering Russia. If team from Vladivostok can play UEfA games, so Kazakstan for Euro. Well, the same goes for Armenia, Azeries, Israel, etc. Are they really in Europe? Not really. but that's how the post Soviet thing played out.
