That IM logo was definately because of this super league. Inter's abbreviation is IM in that agreenment. Inter never had this Inter milan(o) thing before.

Who would wear somthing like that now, branded on any merchandise. I M stupid. Hell, the rest of the football world has the right just to laugh at Inter now. Inter being run by incompetent, cheap, mean crooks along with ACM, and the others. Even the " Big clubs" in this super duper league probably mock the minnows for signing up. No respect at all and Suning has no shame.

It's hurts me a lot that we were involved in this tbh. That's why I pray suning should be out of the club by summer so that this un-erasable stain can be out of this club, atleast we know that it's an individual representative of the club who did this, not the club.

Unfortunately the most likely scenario here is the new owners would be screaming to go to the Super league aswell.

The interesting thing is Marotta voted in favor of this.

Not surprised by this actually, lots of "stars" in the entertainment industry do stunts like this. Hell, even leaders of nations are this crass. Though is nice to know that I always thought, Hazard has that look that says: 'The solid nitrogenous waste that comes out of my posterior station is not odorous."

Shit like this is what made me laugh when people thought the Super League was going to "ruin" football for money.

Gravina can suck a fat one. Take this to arbitration and see it being thrown out.

Peculiar. You’re probably the only person I’ve seen thus far, talking about this issue, who postulates that any 12 clubs would be able to create this Super League (which you’d be right about) and simultaneously claim the inherent and ultimate right to insist on playing in their respective national leagues with the respective national or international federations being unable to do anything about it (which you’re sorely mistaken about, since we wouldn’t be discussing this scenario as hypothetical right now if you were right).
Who would force the latter’s hands, and on which juridical grounds? CAS? It’s certainly not the EU’s problem, and they’ve already stated as much.

You’re also one of the very few - whether for ESL or against it - that can’t see or simply chooses to ignore the mindboggingly financial and thus sportingly unfairness which springs from that outcome, but you’ve already made it clear you don’t actually care about football as a sport - in this iteration, at least - so that’s not quite as surprising.

CAS made Man City play in UCL when UEFA banned them. They literally forced a league from banning its own members.

I don't see how FIGC can enforce teams playing in some other league. Teams play in summer tournaments outside of UEFA jurisdictions all the time.

Yes. FIFA and UEFA have been prepping for these kinds of situations for decades. Way too powerful. Something like ESL will never happen as long as it's not entire football associations that are on the bandwagon instead of just a few clubs. But money will continue to ruin the sport either way.

UEFA/FIFA have been actually too lenient with the big clubs for the past 30 years. Constant threats of super league after every 5 years or something and they have given just more power and money to big clubs.

Now this latest incarnation of the super league transformed into a real idea (from just being a threat) but fell flat because the people running that thing are simply INCOMPETENT AS FUCK. Oh my god what a failure this was. Who the fuck would want owners of big clubs to run the football as a sport? What kind of a clusterfuck that would be if they can't even organize the entry of their product (or how you call it) AT ALL ?

The Super league reaction was very pro wrestling to me. The crowd doesn't like the heels but will cheer them against the REAL heels. Gold.

On top of all it's continually reported that English clubs will be dealt with most leniently by Uefa, while Inter, Atletico M. and Milan are somewhere in the middle. Juventus, Real M. and Barcelona will be most severely punished. Financially. While also FIGC plans some other actions against ESL founding clubs. Hopefully they don't go as far as taking away our title.
