yes thank you.

We will be brought out of a horrible financial mess, and people here jerk off about some glorious past where players were paid in food meals, get the fuck out of here.

UEFA fucked us in the ass for 10 years, and now people expect me to feel bad about these corrupt pricks? FUCK THEM. No where in world, at least in developed world, is there such thing as UEFA.

Ok, let me ask you. And how much will inter give you out of the £350m if the ESL materialises? Alternatively, how much will you lose if uefa wins and CL continues?

What is Super League was always the backup plan of Agnelli if Inter was about to win serie a.

Kept in a secret Fiat/Kinder safe, like a doomsday protocol of sorts...

Think a out it...

How is this the money league? what is UEFA?

do you guys understand how much of the money stays with UEFA and FIFA? yet the 12 teams generate almost all of the hype and almost certainly majority of Revenue

Which teams? Because I doubt Milan has generated any hype in the last 10 years.. considering they haven't.. well, participated in it.

The same goes for Inter. Who's hyped about a club that can't get out of a group stages?

Arsenal? The last time they were in CL, Arsene Wenger was still coaching them.

City, Chelsea and Spurs were nothing 20 years ago. They bought into their succcess (Spurs are still nothing actually). Why should their revenue be higher than an historic, important club like Ajax?

This is an horrible idea and it'll kill the game for good. The gap between the big clubs and smaller ones is already big enough and unfair. Increasing it any further will destroy the domestic leagues completely (Although it kinda already happend in La Liga and Bundesliga a while ago)

Who cares? Who fucking cares... back when we had even less money than we do now we had enough to spend 40m on Kondogbia and 45 on Joao Mario. The larger prize pool will just make players more expensive and stock holders a lot richer, and at what cost? What impact will this have on future generations of football players? Will we ever see another Barella or Bastoni?

that was debt, you did not have money. You had money the same way the americans loaded up on debt to buy houses.

Why would we not see another Barella or Bastoni>? do you think they play right now because they love you or me?

What part of our football is not commercialised right now?

N4L! Howve you been man? It's been a while since I last saw you posted here.

I'm afraid I have to agree with pimpin here, money is the only thing that matters in football these days. I fucking hate it but it is what it is. Am i gonna be happy to see us playing in this disgraceful league? No. Am I gonna stop watching inter? Most probably not.

I don't want the super league to happen but if it happens I won't be sad for one reason only which pimpin has explained. We've been acting like a good dog infront of UEFA and their fkn ffp/SA. Time for them to taste the same medicine

You said the 12 teams generate most of the reveune, so I asked which ones. Because it surely isn't Inter, Milan or Arsenal.

Is FIFA and UEFA corrupt? Yes. Should things be changed? Ofcourse. Is a closed league the answer? Hell no.

Robin Gosens from Kicker Magazine:

"This is a huge disaster for football. I am shocked that it is coming true now. That a small underdog prevails, that was always the basis of football. If there is now a Super League in which Arsenal or Tottenham qualify forever without any sporting achievement, then the foundation of football will be taken away. Everyone must be aware that football will then change forever and will never be the same again. People are still dying all over the world, there is a lack of money at the front and at the back.
These twelve clubs set up their own league and get 100 or 150 million shoved up their asses. You have to question the ethics of that. The sad thing is: at the end of the day, it's all about money, money, money.
The damage would be so big that many fans will hopefully oppose it. I would take part in such protests."

I will eat a proverbial hat if its anything like that. Banning the big clubs from the CL because they didnt wanna participate in the CL is just idiotic. Serie A, the CL, and UEFA, wont survive having to renegotiate contracts with all the big providers in sport, even if the ESL doesnt actually happen.

These guys pay for big clubs - if no big clubs then you won't get the offer.

I don't disagree with that assessment. The economic impact would reverberate around football for years to come. But a counterpoint; this is merely a sign that football is in an economic bubble. So what's better - wait for it to burst, or burst it on purpose and take control of the fallout?

Right now I don't care about sensibility, logic or protecting the longevity of the CL. Burn it. Destroy it. Teach the world a lesson. Actions have consequences. If the selfishness of 12 clubs destroys the entire Champions League, even if the Super League never takes off, let it be a lesson. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

I thought I would feel rage for a few hours on Sunday, go to sleep, and wake up calmed down.

Not this time.

It doesn't matter if this is merely a power play to bend UEFA to structure the Champions League in a way that better suits the club. The fact they believed this was an acceptable course of action as a negotiating tactic – if that is indeed what this is, rather than a sincere attempt to break away from CL and Serie A – speaks volumes.

That raises the question – why am I even still here? Why am I bitching about Inter's greatest betrayal on an Inter forum? If this club is dead to me, why am I here, shouting into the void?

I need this. It is the emotional release of a funeral; acknowledging the entity you once knew is dead. I grew up admiring the respect, professionalism, and integrity of Il Capitano. All of that is now gone. I am angry. I stand here because I want to watch it fall apart. I want to watch it crumble. I want to watch Inter die. There is nothing human left in this club – only the soulless, corporate husk of profiteering. This is the reality of a zombie scenario; it does not matter if the person coming towards you was once the one you loved. You must neutralise them before they eat you alive and make them one of you.

This is a bit dramatic mate.

Money talks, and the owners of these clubs aren't billionaires because they're against more money. I can understand the motives.

That's not to say the that I find the format stupid. A competition without any prospect of relegation, promotion, underdog storyline... that's going to be boring AF. Can't see how it will be sustainable

I'm not sure how I feel about the Super League.

What I do know, though, is that I'm absolutely livid that our Scudetto season is being overshadowed by the timing of all this.

You called my question stupid because either you don't have answer for it or what you want with regards to this fiasco is rather stupid. Now let me answer your question, what I want? Joy, peace of mind and humanity, also, certainly not through the Bullshit ESL and not through maintaining the status quo either, but rather something in the middle, something that will satisfy both parties, the fans and protect the beloved so called 'small clubs' who are the ones that make football beautiful . Have you ever wondered what will happen to the non-participating clubs if this materialises, or don't you care? . Well I care about values and solidarity in everything including football, not only money, especially one that I know I will not expend a penny out of it. It is also good to remind you that the formation of this bullshits is also a threat to European football in general not only ucl or uefa, so in this regard you the fan is also at the losing side if this goes on if you don't know

Dramatic and accurate. If the worst happens, the Super League goes ahead and Inter is kicked out of Serie A that'll be the end of my days as an Inter supporter, because Inter will be no more. There is no way that I would be able to stomach watching Inter play in a soulless money grabbing tournament when I know that it came with the cost throwing the club's dignity and heritage in the garbage bin.

The underhanded way that the clubs went about this is simply dishonest and unworthy of any self-respecting club. The supporters who've lived and breathed Inter deserved to know in advance what was being planned rather than having this nuke dropped on them out of the blue.

Yeah, I hear the arguments "but money" and "fuck UEFA". Sorry, but that's not good enough for me.

Time to start learning how baseball works. Any good teams to support out there? Are Red Sox any good this year?
