PSG owners plan takeover of Espanyol
That's actually how football market works.Svanberg from Bologna is set to join Wolfsburg for around 9 mln. This guy was linked to us in January, and i bet that if Inter decided to go after him, the price would have been 15-20 mln.
Typical to blame the predecessor. That's the club you inherit, you deal with that shit and the contracts. But not by throwing the player under the bus by threatening to keep him outside the squad.Depends on your biases wrt FDJ. Bartomeu is principal one to blame for countless examples of mismanagement, not least of which are exorbitant wages for nearly everyone in squad
Frenkie agreed to defer wages but not lower them like everyone else in the squad so his exit inherited by Laporta was already set in motion then. Only normal he has to either accept less or leave- reality of course is even sporting wise he is not ideally suited to be an heir to Busquets and nowhere near the interior his likely replacement in Bernardo is
They’ll arrive at a resolution, probably some negotiated settlement on those deferred wages but it won’t be 100% of them
Club was disastrously mismanaged and Laporta is course correcting by cleaning the deadwood and wage imbalance while building a competitive squad that can compete for every trophy. I love it

De Jong shouldn't approve any move before he's paid all his money he's owed. That story of all other players decreased their salaries EXCEPT De Jong who only accepted deferring sounds like a total horse shit and some "leak" released to the media by no other than Laporta. You can't expect anyone to believe such thing.
United already upped their offer (higher base fee) so Barcelona can pay some of those salaries. I think they will come to an agreement but De Jong shouldn't give any cent to Barcelona.
