Haven’t seen enough of Marmoush to have a real opinion about him. Given the fact you follow the Bundesliga closely, is he good enough to succeed at City?
Hard to say. Marmoush has been absolutely MASSIVE for Eintracht. Last season he was great but this season he has elevated his game and his form is simply insane. Easily in the top 3 performers of the league. At Eintracht he plays at an extremely high level. Fast, great finisher, amazing dribbler, creator. Incredible player. But the thing with Marmoush is he was bang average till his stint at Wolfsburg and he suddenly exploded out of the blue at Frankfurt. And we have seen this before at Eintracht who are basically the German version of Atalanta. Their top performers are struggling the moment they leave the hive. Haller, Jovic, Kolo Mouani, Lindstrom, Ndicka. So i am sceptical about Marmoush. He could be just another Eintracht system player. Only time will tell.
Also i can't see where he could fit in Pep's system. Marmoush is a secondary striker in a two forward formation. If Pep tries to turn him into a winger he's gonna struggle.
He would be perfect for Inzaghi's system.
