Wirtz is a dirty cunt, wouldn't sign him even if he would beg to join Inter. I don't want these characters in my favourite team. Players as such belong to spanish clubs, or even Milan or gobbi.

No doubt on his footballing ability, but to me he seems arrogant and annoying with his attitude and body language. I just can't stand such players whom tend to overreact over any little matter, or change their card when things go other way. Besides of his annoying attitude, I think he's a diver aswell. I dunno, it's just can't stand his character. Musiala is same age as him, but he's an example in almost every aspect of the game, whether it's on attitude or ability.

I've just never had that takeaway from watching him I guess. I can't remember Wirtz particularly annoying me through his actions. I didn't know if I had just missed or forgotten something that was damning.

This nonsense about Barca is just not true at all. Not long time ago he has clarified this and he is/was a fan of Messi, but Barca is not his favorite club.

Also, Bayern are after him since a long long time, even before he went to Leverkusen, but he wanted to finish school first and stay near home.

Wirtz can only move with contract ending free transfer( if youre broke ) they are negotiating until 2028 maybe even more. Guy costs like 170-200 millions. I doubt Barca have the financial strength to put it on the table anyway currently.

To even entertain the idea you would need to sell few squad players for big money . Vitor Roque maybe 25 mil, Lenglet 5mil?, Frenkie 25- 30mil if youre lucky ( contract is absolutely killer for any deal tbh). So even with all these you'd still need 100 more.

Its interesting to see where he ends up , Im sure Barca won't be alone chasing him, Real would want him just as much. But only with coach change.

I was only speaking to the mutual admiration club & player have for one another, I don’t see it happening for sporting reasons more than financial ones. I am not surprised this myth that Barça are broke persists, we are doomed as you know

Obv Barca can still pull a rabbit out of the hat, Olmo for 55-60? is still a noteworthy splashing last summer. But there are signs that Barca has changed course and they are one of very few who is doing it on this level. Importing teenagers from youth and getting even better is mindblowing. Obv you have found your perfect coach too in Hansi.

Barça's transfer strategy since start of Laporta's 2nd term was handcuffed more by Liga FFP than lack of finances, Masia talents cushioned that blow. Now at 1:1, success on & off the pitch, stadium to re-open soon and revenue continuing to increase in every sector of the club, no transfers are out of reach. Laporta will make big signings that a player like Wirtz could demand, there's no doubt but as I have been discussing it is less likely to happen due to sporting reasons - which should be normal considering the depth & quality in midfield

It's clear many outside the club get tripped up by the past headlines on financial doom & gloom but few have actually been keeping up, future is quite bright
