Dont Lanciano do a lot of the Juve buy-to-loan players?

SS Virtus Lanciano 1924 Srl comunica che ha acquisito a titolo temporaneo con riscatto e controriscatto dalla UC Sampdoria le prestazioni sportive dell'attaccante Federico Bonazzoli.

LOAN deal: Lanciano have an option to buy while Sampdoria have a buy-back option on him.

Wait so does that negate our original option?

thinking aloud

I'm not sure this negates our option.

Lanciano have an option to buy him. We also have an option to re-sign him. We would basically end up competing with Lanciano. It'd be interesting to know if their option is cheaper than ours - presumably it is - which then means we'd end up substantially overpaying for him to bring him back.

I'm with most here and sickened by the mere idea of juve signing him. I'm also annoyed that we thought to sell him for profit to Samp, where he was never going to get any playing time. We chose the several million euros gained from selling him instead of investing in his potential by keeping him and loaning him. That's fine. It's an understandable decision. As far as I'm concerned, Serie B is where he should have been sold/loaned to begin with. That being said, he hasn't actually done a thing yet. Less than 90 mins played if I'm not mistaken and zero goals. We can worry about the technicalities of bringing him back and any competitors if he actually starts to perform at a level where he can actually contribute to our aims. For all we know, his career may go the way of Acquafresca.

Juve beat Inter for Pereira
Football Italia1 Day Ago

Comments
Juventus and Inter race for three youngsters: Corinthians' Matheus Pereira, Rosario Central's Giovani Lo Celso, and Sampdoria's Federico Bonazzoli.

It is believed the Bianconeri have an advantage to reach the former of these players. Pereira, a 19-year-old trequartista, has already accepted the Old Lady's offer of €2m and bonuses, according to Tuttosport.

Inter also had an interest in the player but failed to beat Juventus in the race. There is still hope for them however as Corinthians asked for a higher price of €3m and are waiting for someone to raise the bid.

Juventus are attempting to repeat their operation with Lo Celso, and they have already offered €6m plus bonuses. This is the closest that Rosario Central has come to their request of €10m, but Inter, alongside Porto, Roma, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, are believed to be interested as well.

The player's entourage is allegedly happy with a move to Juventus, even though this would imply a loan to Sassuolo.

Finally there is Bonazzoli, who is currently loaned to Serie B side Virtus Lanciano. Inter have a right to buy him back from Sampdoria at €7.5m, but they appear not to be greatly interested.

Juventus had a chance to sign the player in January, but after making an initialy offer of €6m all negotiations have been deferred to the summer. If Inter decide not to exercise their transfer right, then Bonazzoli may well join the Bianconeri

I don't know, I'm happy for the kid not to be here.

Imagine the competition:

Icardi, Palacio, Eder, Ljajic, Jovetic, Manaj.

If he's here it would be:

Icardi, Palacio, Eder, Ljajic, Bonazzoli, Jovetic, Manaj.

Fifth choice at best, no way he'll get more than 2 minutes per game, we will only hinder his development.
