Chiesa scored 9 open play league goals last season, which was tied for his best total ever in league play.

When you consider how much went wrong at Juventus last season, I really believe Inzaghi can find another level in this guy.

I also don't think he ultimately ends up at Inter. I'm thinking some Italian club ends up bailing Juventus out late in the window. They're not going to let his contract just expire, surely?

Not amounted to anything is extremely harsh. He’s been a starter at Juventus when fit. He was also a starter on a Euro winning team.

I understand if you don’t think we should sign him. But let’s not act like he’s not shown quality in the past.
Not amounted to anything compared to what people thought he would be.. Its like id say balo and el sharawi and jovetic did not amount to anything although they had good and decent parts to their career.....My point is people still seem to think he can reach that potential which he wont...
Being in a starer in that euro squad aint that much of an achievement he also was a starter in the italy that did not make it to the WC twice....
Again my problem with him is that imho he s a bang average player or he became a bang average player wh scores 1 o 2 absolute bangers per season and otherwise does nothing special but he has the attitude of a star and wants to be a starter.
Any other golden boy with his resume at 26 and we d all say fuck no
Unless Chiesa is willing to play RWB, where he could be a starter at Inter. He did well in that role at Fiorentina & Inzaghi could make it work. Imagine Dimarco & Chiesa as our two wingbacks, with Augusto & Dumfries as back ups!

Frattesi swap is a no deal, unless the money is good (20m+). But I wouldn't mind a swap with Arnautovic or Correa :p
As i pointed out earlier that would also be a disappointment he got a grand total of 3 more scorers points than dumfries last season and his defense is worse then dumfries. People are not happy with dumfries i dont see how they re gonna be happy with chiesa unless it s a nationality thing

He did score 10 while at fiore probably not all open play ahh and he also had 6 more assists in his last season at fiore then he had in his 9 goals season at jube.
If dybala had to go to roma i really dont see how any big club picks up this guy

How many golden boys that have not amounted to anything special by 26 (soon 27) have actually become good enough to start for a big team after 26?
I know people are gonna say i m a hater and exaggerate but fact is Chiesas best season in serie A is worse than Thurams first ever season in serie a and most of us thought thuram was not good enough to be a starter. Yes i know not exactly the same position still my point stands.
Only good deal for us would be correa for chiesa every thing else we should say thanks but no thanks let him be jubes headache...
Also lets not forget even f his transferfee would be low the dude would want 5mio+ in salary thats for sure.
Thuram is a great example and comparison if we consider Chiesa would be some kind of a support striker.

I would prefer RWB.

But as discussed, I feel Chiesa is simply too expensive total package. Salary is starter level clearly. Agent Ramadani is known for Raiola-like tactics, he can get good deals for his clients.

Chiesa though probably wants only big club and CL football etc which takes out most of the EPL even if they had the funds and the means to sign him.

Fratesi would score a hattrick against us every time we played Juve if we did this

Now Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio warns that Roma never stopped the negotiations and are still in pole position for Chiesa.

Coach Daniele De Rossi dropped a hint too, as he ‘liked’ Chiesa’s Instagram post showing him training in Turin.

if Denzel does not sign, maybe Chiesa can cover RW? But no Frattesi involved

Probably gonna end up at Roma. They will be interesting to follow coming season. With Dybala, Pellegrini, Dovbyk, Soulé and Chiesa they are dangerous attacking side.

I dont think that we are so dumb to give Frattessi for Chiesa who have left one year of contract. That would be literally helping hand to Juventus. They stuck with him and they have to sell him at any price now.
Chiesa at Inter is fine, but only as free agent.

I want him. Limone can get the best Chiesa we saw some time ago. Can we say we would have the best 5 Italian players if we get him? Barella, Bastoni, Dimarco, Chiesa, Fratessi.

First of all, it's Marotta convicing him for signing for free, selling Inter as the best option for him and a real chance of playing minutes competing with Marcus Thuram for a starting spot (forget Chiesa playing RW, this is not a videogame, but real life). If we have the word of Chiesa of coming for free, then we can push The Criminals to sell him for 10millions rather than nothing next year, but that's only if Chiesa ONLY wants Inter and nothing else. Deseo que Marotta tenga a LOS CRIMINALES cogidos por los huevos.

If Chiesa didnt have a problematic injury history i might be tempted to gamble on him for Frattesi and cash. Our midfield is absolutely loaded but the issue is outside of Barella theyre all 30 plus, meaning injuries are likely. Again, if Chiesa were consistently healthy I think he'd be worth the risk simply for the tactical flexibility he'd allow us. But I'd rather keep the current core together for now. We can wait one year to get him for free or just never sign him if he renews with his new club.

EDIT: I forgot about Asllani but he gets limited minutes already.

I’m going to be ridiculed for this, but I honestly think we’re one healthy Chiesa away from being a really nasty, balanced team in all departments. He brings a lot to the table that we’re lacking and I think having many of his NT teammates around would help him integrate.

On a free our management wouldn’t think twice about it, but I doubt Chiesa is available a year from now. Juve want him out now and he’s not going to want to waste a year of his career being frozen out. It would be a gamble like any transfer, but I like the upside the more I think about it. The big question is wages for me. We’re not going to offer even close to what his agent is allegedly asking for.

I don't get it, if we could pay 30M for Guðmundsson, we should be able to afford 10-15M for Chiesa; however, if this is the case, Guðmundsson might give us more value. (As long as the lawsuit issue is resolved.) Chiesa only make sense if the fee is 10M. Anyway Correa fuck off please
