Given how poor the club is, this is the best we can realistically hope for from a reserve off the bench. Look at our other positions. Our top reserves are all over the age of 30 and well past their primes.

Yeah Dimarco is def not optimal Bastoni replacement but when this club has had optimal squad?

If more defensive approach is needed, we switch Skriniar to the left and D'Ambrosio/other RCB plays on the right.

I would be interested to see how Dimarco would do at LCM or DM position in our system? He is pretty fast, good enough technique to handle the ball, can give good long balls, can tackle and shoot. I don’t know might be good? I just have this awful feeling every time Gags is on the field

I don't rate him high as a football player and few months ago i wanted him sold in the summer. But, I've changed my mind now. He looks like true Interista and I'd be happy to stay as a rotation player. We need such personalities in the dressing room.

He can still be a really good player if he works on his positioning and defending. It is something that can be learned with effort.

His upside will always be welcome. He’s got a cannon for a left foot and quality set piece delivery. Plus being an interista doesn’t hurt.
