According to Schira, Chelsea are now willing to accept a loan deal for Emerson who is now close to Juventus. I guess Emerson was more of a Marotta choice and Conte doesn't really rate him. This is probably the reason we haven't heard anything about him since the meeting.

The fact Chelsea seem to offer Emerson on a free loan and yet we don't even show the slightest interest confirms my belief he was Marotta's choice and not Conte's.

Regarding playing time at Chelsea, Emerson was injured and still acclimatizing @ Chelsea. He was also brought in to be backup, because you know, Conte also bought Alonso.

So it's more ridiculous to assert Conte has changed his mind, than to say Marotta, who had no interest in the player @ Juve AND knows his coach has "changed his mind", is the matermind behind trying to bring Emerson here?
