Overanalyzing Pinamonti is not "fair". His potential was always obvious. And we all know what Conte does to that said potential.

Also, he comes without pressure at all. Several subs here and there. Can cover multiple positions.

I am not really surprised about the rumour for Pinamonti. There were multiple reports last summer Conte wanted to see Pinamonti in the preseason before deciding his fate. Of course this never happened because we needed to sell him to meet capital gains requirements but it doesn't change the fact Conte actually rates Pinamonti.

This is not about what Pina might be some day, what is his potential or anything like that. Now it's about what he can deliver to Inter right now in the next 6 months. That what is required from a player we desperately need right now in my opinion. 20 year old kid is not that but still better than nothing.

This mercato was actually pretty good, almost excellent but failing to get that striker sub is a massive fuckup and puts a big minus to the mercato. Period.

Just bring in Pinamonti, we still need someone to rotate having 2 difficult matches per week.
