There's no way we're bringing Arna and Correa with their contracts expiring during the tournament and there being no chance of renewal
That's a very good point! (y)

So we have Acerbi, Darmian and Mkhi locked up for the extension, and we buy them out with the clause after the tournament if we decide to do so. But those two turds will be left out for sure.

Then bringing in Pio makes sense. Unless we manage to buy that new striker (like Castro). And even then it might make sense to get the kid to travel with the big boys.

From the Oak Trees perspective that is totally fine. Morover, It’s the superbowl week in the US- who cares about some random Italian soccer team’s transfer market?
Well they could hire me, to keep nagging them about "real football".

Zalewski and Sučić. Sounds solid. Looking forward to watch more of him when he come back from his injury. Maybe even live on some games in Maksimir.

Beppe hands are tied. It will build a squad over 2/3 seasons but when we need players urgently we are fucked.

I am sure they know we need a CB and attacking options, and I bet my left nut they will scouting the world trying to find someone for cheap, or <€10M

Fuck me, 2025 compared to the inter of old, you can almost blow your load if we had the forwards of twenty five years ago.

Kanu, Zamorano, Baggio, Recoba, Ventola, Ronaldo, Djorkaeff
Sukur, Vieri, Ronaldo, Zamorano, Keane, Recoba

It's 5AM and can't sleep... Haven't read a Jonathan David link in a while, which worries me.

€14m fixed fee plus €2m add-ons and sell-on clause?! 🤔 Let me doubt this for a second..

Can you really convince David when he wouldn't be a first-choice striker here? Easier to do that with younger players, but David's 25 and getting Premier League offers which presumably mean clubs that can pay better wages than we will. I'm just not sure how that one's supposed to happen short of Thuram's €85m clause being triggered and him agreeing to leave. Even then Oaktree's given me no reason to think they'll pay the sign-on bonuses that come with free transfers. Free's have been one of Beppe's strengths and he's kinda getting knee-capped on those.

I know Im behind a keyboard and Marotta is the best director of all time but someone make this make sense to me.

Why can I clearly see a shortage in our forward line and they can’t. This however isn’t the part that perplexes me. I imagine people will say we have no money.

So tell me why are did we spend 15 Million on a back up goalkeeper, and 16 Million on a midfielder for NEXT season instead of using 31 Million to prioritize addressing our immediate concerns such as a centre back and a striker.

I just don’t get it. Also where is the issue with loaning a mathys tel or a rashford with an option to buy? We can’t afford them in the summer then don’t activate the option.

Sučić coming here means he'll probably play for the main team, and Topalovič goes to the U23 team. Pretty good. Now find some Italian talent too

David will play a lot here. Limone is known for rotating a lot, as we play an insane amount of games. Rotating between Lauti, Thuram and David will make sense. Imo Inter is a top-5 club in te world right now. Name me one topclub where David would start without any competition? I can’t think of one.

With the departure of Correa and Arnautovic, there will be room for him financial wise too. Imo David makes a lot of sense for us.

Martinez I agree. Better to keep Stankovic or find a free "Audero" until we really need.

The Sucic decision depends on the outcome, still wait to see. If we must get him now or risk losing him to another team; but this guy is a world beater while the alternatives are nowhere near as good...then the management is correct.

I also don't agree with the Juventus-esque dry loans deals (Muani, Veiga, Alcaraz) or previous Inter's (Rafinha & Cancelo). Too short sighted. Those only make sense when the cash-pool (CL ticket) is at risk. They consume much resources too (in terms of loan fees + salary) and leave Inter with multiple loopholes at the end. Without trophy we might turn into Roma (spend 100m on new starters but all obviously can't click at the same time).

Sucic is signed or not? when he returns from injury?
I don't think a CB was needed, if De Vrij is out we have Bissek, and Carlos/Darmian to cover the sides too.
