Congrats to Spain on a magnificent game and result. Well deserved win for a side who outhustled and outplayed their more talented opponent the entirety of the game.

Now some may think I am wrong that England has more talent, and that is fine. Just my take on it. But to me this game demonstrates the importance of team play, of everyone being on the same page and working together in a good plan of attack.

From that perspective the England manager came up short. He conceded building up from the back very quickly, which can work if you coordinate your long kicks by the keeper with a strong high press. But England did not do that. They instead turned the ball over to Spain almost every long kick, and that resultant possession they gave up plus their turnovers in their own possession due to the strong team defense of Spain was too much to overcome.

So I think it will be very funny if England retains Southgate. And if they do they can look forward to many more disappointing ousters in big games in the future. Also this is why I like "Big Game" Inzaghi so much... He understands the value of boldness on the attack and coordinating the different elements on the pitch towards that goal.

Such an impressive tournament by Spain, to eliminate all the best and most talented opponents on the road to the championship. Well done.

England played well but that's a dumb statement. Look at the road both sides had to go through. Spain's side of the bracket was a bloodbath.

Fully deserved. Spain was the best team in the whole tournament and in the final. Plus, they saved us from 10 years of wankfest from the media about how the great England is back.

Totally. I was reading earlier today on a big British website that Southgate is the new Sir Bobby Robson

Southgate is gone. Only good news today.

Going even harder on a WC. It will be 60 years. Might even go to England to watch some games with locals.

Spain beat Italy, Germany, France and England. All the other big leagues. Don't remember any harder route to the throphy than this.

Almost forgot massive performance from the fans. Total domination on the stands. Long live English culture.

Congrats to Spain. As I said already...most likeable team in a while apart from Morata and those scums from Real.

Also glad for Olmo. He literally grow up in my city playing for Dinamo 6 years. Proper bloke.

I m gonna sound like a bitter old cunt but for me seeing England fail over and over again at international tournaments atfer hyping their team up like they re unbeatable is one of the most enjoyable things international football has to offer...

At this point i m almost convinced that the only way for them to eventually win a trophy is if the media and fans finally look at their squad realistically, but in their eyes they are always the favourites cause EPL...

Except no one normal was hyping this team. But you all keep going on with your propaganda.
