I predict it being harder psychologically rather than in footballing aspect. That Bologna fiasco will haunt us, and most of players of that squad are still around. It takes a great character to overcome such difficulties. Hopefully our players will remain stoic and don't shit their pants once the time comes. Viola dominating and looking sharp that day game was suspended, doesn't scare me as much as match postponing does though.

Last season we won Scudetto by a wide margin, things are different now. It looks like gap will be close until the end of season, unless things change drastically.

Let's say, this match will be postponed to a very delicate date, and the positions between first, second and third are tight af, so don't you think it will be a major burden psychologically? No matter of Viola's form by then, pressure will be damn fire, but like I said above, hopefully we make things easier for ourselves by winning upcoming matches, and we get lucky (our rivals dropping points).

I don't want to be a cynic here but Fiorentina will be fine. They will sign someone else to replace him and life will go on. Players come and go at clubs.

It's a huge blow mostly for Bove. His career (and his health) will be greatly affected from now on.
