Here come Maicon and Sneijder to finish ruining our season. Stay away already.

The f*ck are you talking about?

Maicon as RB and Zanetti as LB would be really cool to see.

bah even chivu has been better at left back this past few matches than maicon at Rb, I dont want him to return unless he plays like a boss in the remaining games and increases his market value, ever since he had been raped by Bale he has been poor Tbh

And even if sneijder returns, I cant see us playing 4-2-3-1, with the 2 man midfield and our piss poor defense, we are going to get raped, and its not like zarate will track back and help out with the defending

TO FLORENCE ALSO WITH SNEIJDER AND MAICON.

With the Dutch, Stramaccioni can turn back to the 4-3-1-2 of his Primavera.

Appiano Gentile - Two more men for Stramaccioni. The current Inter coach has been waiting for this for some time now and yesterday confirmed it: on Sunday in Florence, there will also be Sneijder and Maicon even though that they might not start from the beginning (Maicon is more likely to start than Sneijder). The two yesterday played more than half the session (45 out of 70 minutes) with the team including training mini games. It was good for both from the physical point of view with specific exercises to improve condition on the field.

Tactics The next few days of training will enable more accurate predictions on the chances of both coming back for Fiorentina but we can assume that with the availability of Sneijder, Inter will have one more alternative in respect to the 4-3-3 that Strama has been using since he took over. Now with Wes, the coach can apply on the field what he has in mind since his arrival as coach of the first team: one man who has all the freedom to move up front (Sneijder), a central striker (Milito or Pazzini), and a second striker which, at the moment, is likely to be Zarate than Forlan.

With extra efort all of them can play together and press high. Bayern last night played with striker Gomez, two wide atackers Ribery and Robben plus Kroos who is same player like Sneijder. Both Luis Gustavo and Sweinie are more CM than DM but they played behind atacking four.

I can't see a problem that we use our atackers, at least against smaller teams and Fiorentina is just average at the moment.

2:25 = Ownage

..And if Maicon is to play, then i wouldnt mind zanetti in midfield because Maicon needs someone to cover his ass when he never returns from a failed attack

IT'S A TANGO INTER
WITH STRAMA, ONLY GOALS FROM ARGENTINIANS

Nine out of nine goals scored by Argentinians.
But the third spot will depend on the rebirth of Pazzo and Forlan.

Appiano Gentile - Saying Inter have a schizophrenic patter in the league would be an understatement. Between September 11 and October 29, 9 total matches - first with Gasperini and then with Ranieri - they put together just 8 points. In the next 10 games, between November 19 and January 22, 27 points arrived. It is too bad that in the 10 games between February 1 and March 25 - the last game with Ranieri - only 6 points. Then began the era of Stramaccioni, 7 points in 3 games. Only by maintaining a similar average, Inter can hope to get the third spot.

Monopoly But the anomalies do not end here. With the youngest coach on the bench, in fact, the Nerazzurri have also found the goals. After having scored 4 in 8 games (with the record fasting of 542 minutes without a goal between the last goal of Milito against Palermo to Forlan's against Catania), Inter got 9 goals in just 3 games. In fact, the average has gone from 0.5 goals per game to 3.0. The funny thing is that with Strama, only Argentinians have managed to get on the score sheet: 6 by Milito, 1 each for Cambiasso, Samuel and Zarate. It is also true that we saw, against Siena, 6 Argentinian starters including three to monopolized the offensive department with Alvarez and Zarate over the shoulders of Milito.

Forlan and Pazzini But the one man that Inter fans are hoping to see back in form is Forlan. Stramaccioni himself explained that the left wing position penalizes the Uruguayan, however, the coach is expecting much more from the man who dragged Uruguay to the final four of the World Cup as well as Coppa America triumph. And then there is Pazzini. After scoring on January 22 against Lazio, he has gone into a black hole. But in front of him is Diego Milito and keeping out the Argentinian would be a straitjacket.

the referee for this game will apparently be the same guy who was in charge for the 5-4 against genoa

wouldn't be surprised if we concede a penalty or two, especially since we're not playing at GM this time

Is Deki back for this match?

Strama's 4312 would mean something similar to...

Milito + Zarate or Pazzini or Forlan
Sneijder
Cambiasso + Deki (if fit) + Poli or Guarin
Capitano + Lucio + Rano or Chivu + Maicon (if fit)

?

It seems like we are going to get a break with a couple of Fiorentina injuries: Vargas and Jovetic. Vargas is out for the year and Jovetic is out for three days according to GdS. Doubtful against us.
