Well in paper looks like we have been magnificient but anyone who followed this team throughout the season would know that we have been a disaster until very late

Very very lucky with the outcome here. Inzaghi has to finally learn when to use which players. Gagliardini, Correa and Handanovic, maybe even De Vrij had no business of playing today.

A player like Gags shouldn't be allowed to start in a CL final. Never. Ever. The UEFA should forbid it.

tbh, Onana at the back will already make a big difference. Handanovic's passing confidence/range is much lower, so the team has to be more deep (relative to goal), so we get more predictable build up. With longer passing range you can push a deeper line so it gives us more unpredictability. That being said, a deeper line vs City isnt necessarily a good idea anyway
