Must win game for the Scudetto imo. We must be at pace with Napoli (preferably build a lead) when we visit them in about 3 weeks. Their last 7 games consists of; Empoli (H), Monza (A), Torino (H), Lecce (A), Genoa (H), Parma (A) en Cagliari (H). Our games are a lot harder to win.
These are mostly teams that fight relegation, it is always difficult to play against them in the later part of the season. Remember the season when Milan won the scudetto, for the last stretch of the games they had more difficult schedule, on paper, then us but they never slip up because they played mostly teams from mid table, not having to fight for anything.
So hopefully this time Napoli will slip up and we will take our chance.

Really important game, from the mental aspect more than anything, and I mean napoli mental aspect. Who knows how they react in their next couple of games if we match them on points tonight. They almost had a perfect season so far, but still couldn't create any important distance from us. That could be crushing for them...

Most Improved MemberI'm hoping the way they dropped points at Roma ends up having a similar effect to something that happened to us in Conte's first season here.
We didn't drop any points from a 2nd half-leading position in the first 14 games. Then, between MD15 (@ Fiorentina) all the way until MD34 (so this spanned both sides of the Covid pause that year) we lost 20 points in such situations. Once we had one late game letdown, several more followed from there.
Sunday was the first time all season Napoli failed to turn a 2nd half lead into a win. We should remember this from last year with our record of 75th+ not allowing any goals. Once that kind of thing gets one crack in its armor, it's not unusual for more cracks to follow. Hopefully there are more cracks in Napoli's armor to come now that they've sustained one.
