Simone is not a good motivator, Sneijder once said that he was ready for war for Jose, if Simone have a little of that.....

The forum becomes unreadable any time the teams fuck up.

You guys wouldn't mind this performance if we ended up winning it by 0-1 by saying the "3 points is all that matters blah blah". Now that we've lost 3-0 the performance has become a problem!

Shit happens. Move on. The big holes in the squad were pretty obvious in the summer, but the club decided to spend their small budget on a second GK nobody and a no good forward cunt. Both are as impactful as a ghost.

Despite the obviously poor mercato in the summer, they wasted the whole January mercato with their dicks in their hands once again! Now you are mad that our first eleven can't keep up with this tight schedule.

What an unmitigated disaster of a performance that was. Christ. Inzaghi gambled on using Bisseck and Frattesi in rotation and got burned with both of them being utter dogshit in particular, not that the rest of the team was much better. Literally not one chance worth a damn created in 75 minutes.

Deserved loss. Two games in hand at point, 1/6 points collected from them.

If my memory is correct, yesterday's game was the first time since the Napoli game at the very end of the 2022-'23 season where we trailed (and eventually lost) by 2+ goals in a Serie A game. I think there was only one game all of last season where that happened, and that was Benfica away in the Champions League (which ended in a 3-3 draw). It had been 21 months since we last had a multi-goal deficit in a league game.

These are our fixtures:

And these are Napoli's fixtures:

We are undoubtedly facing an uphill battle. We have harder upcoming opponents and we haven't even consider UCL opponents. And matchday 27 on 2 March is the must-win match. A win would only keep us barely afloat in the contention while even a draw would be similar to handing over the trophy to Napoli.

A deserved loss and puts paid to the myth that we have the best squad in Serie A.
After the 1st 11 there is defo a drop-off!

We didnt move the ball anywhere near quick enough which to me says not enough movement off the ball and players not trusting each other - or themselves. The drop off in Barella's form has been obvious for a while and Thuram isnt your man if the game has no space. Neither is Martinez. We lack guile/fantasy and to think ppl complained Conte's Inter were too functional/dull.

Our performance reminded me of the Sassuolo game at San Siro when we lost the Scudetto a couplo years ago - not the Bologna game everyone goes on about. Lifeless and out of ideas. Did Palladino out-tactic Inzaghi and the Viola players outwork/outplay them or is it our usual early year slump?

To me it looks like the players are worn-out. Heavy rotation needed but....
And Frattesi can leave in the summer as he's just not good enough. Extra-midfielders are needed.

A disappointment and a deserved loss. However, its impressive the fact that the last time we lost by 3 goals difference was in 2019, under Spalletti, and the fact that all the big clubs have lost by the same amount this season.

We will win the next one vs Fiora ...So we can later draw vs Rubentus and lose hope again 😂😂😂
Since every match is "a must win" match for many Inter fans, anything else would be a disappontment. Even after a win we can moan about the lost points in the past 100 years, or at least the ones which the whiney fans can remember.

Maybe this is not bad. Maybe next summer we finally start to participate in mercato.
It will not make a difference. You can lead a horse to water but you cannot force it to drink: Oaktree know the situation but do not want spend to rejuvenate the squad.

Inter are a good side, there's no question about it. We'll beat lots of teams by sheer virtue of the talent gap but against bigger teams they're revealed to be overrated hacks and flat track bullies. Against the top 8 teams in Serie A, our record is pathetic:

2 wins - against Lazio and Atalanta
4 draws - against Milan, Napoli, Bologna and Juve
3 losses - against Milan x2 and Fiorentina

If the skill gap between two opponents is not decisively large, then you need other intangibles to win - strategy, mentality, sheer effort. This is where the team has been decidedly lacking this season. These are the assets we have completely lost from last season. Replaced instead with complacency and arrogance.

Agreed, but this forum is mostly just a place to vent. E-therapy :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

IMO i dont think derby (Milan or Juve) draws are an indication of anything and drawing with Napoli isnt that big a deal either. Obvsly would prefer a win but those derby results can go either way.

This i agree with to a certain extent. Looks like the clutch players in the team are worn out, mentally and physically.

Inter have avoided a fine for the squad avoiding their media duties after Thursday’s Serie A loss to Fiorentina.
It was not too much of a surprise to see Inter’s player shy away from the media after Thursday’s match against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The Nerazzurri had just suffered their heaviest defeat of the season. And in fact, it was the first time that they had lost a match by a three-goal margin since 2019.

Players and coaches both have pre- and post-match media duties in Serie A.

Therefore, in addition to the coach, at least one player from the squad must do post-match interviews. And since this was the first such media blackout from the Nerazzurri this season, the league has let them off with a warning.
