Some articles (no serious sources though, other than spanish eurosport) now say the cause might have been a collision with Dumfries just a few minutes ago. Some media claim Bove went to change his shirt right after it and told some people on the bench he was already feeling dizzy.

Maybe if you are drunk and drawing it

But yeah, for me that's a clear out tbh...

It looks like it's out, but the picture is zoomed and blurry. Under a straight line, there is a slight chance that a part of ball could be inside the line. Don't be so sure about it, we haven't seen different angles yet. It would be cool if VAR could come up with a definite review which could remove all doubts.

Doveri already indicated it's a throw-in so assumption is VAR told him it was out.

There's a lot of cases where you can think the whole ball is out, but if u draw a line upwards, you can see that part of it is still inside. The picture is quite blurry but yes, its out only if the whole ball is out.

Yes, there are a lot of cases where perception is tricky, but I don't think in the picture I posted that's the case. If the picture you posted represented what actually happened last night, you would have seen that ball from the angle I posted much closer to the line. No matter how blurry the picture is, you can clearly see where the line ends and where the position of the ball is. It was very close, but it was an out imo.

Was trying to find the replays to watch this game, saw nothing on the usual websites, and felt that was strange and instantly unsettling because Inter games are always available on those websites, and the last time I remembered having difficulty finding a game was in March 2018, when I was looking for our away derby match vs. Milan from the day before. Came to find out the match was abandoned because of Davide Astori's untimely death the morning of that game (among the rest from that day).

Christ, I would say yet another Eriksen episode, but the Eriksen episode was one that followed in the foot steps of Marc-Viven Foe, Miklós Fehér, Serginho, Antonio Puerta, Fabrice Muamba, and others. It's been followed by Evan Ndicka, Juan Izquierdo, and now Edoardo Bove. It never gets less unsettling, it never gets less real. Hopefully Bove will be ok.

According to recent reports, Bove has overcome that difficult moment. He's doing okay, breathing properly and communicating aswell. There was no sign of brain/heart damage as I've read earlier, so that's good news. Everything else (his return to the pitch) is secondary though.

Why isn't the match resumed today? Or better yesterday?

Yeah, this will be a bitch to get re-scheduled.

Our midweeks are tied up with CL (Dec. 10) and Coppa (Dec. 19) the next two weeks, then Christmas, then Italian Super Cup, then a make-up game Jan. 15 against Bologna, then the next two midweeks to follow are CL. We don't have a free mid-week until February at the earliest, and that's not taking into account what Fiorentina's schedule might be. We're gonna be sitting -1 on games played (and, for a brief time, -2 on Atalanta and Napoli) for quite a while.

Hopefully we make things easier for ourselves by winning most of matches, so this postponed match won't be deciding our season.

Look what was happening on the field... postponing would have saved a conceding goal for us. Fiorentina was dominating left and right. Now Inzaghi has the chance to re-analyze Fio gameplay again.

Plus the timing could not be worse last time. Fio were having a 7 consecutive winning streak in Serie A. Probably next time they will dip their form a bit?

Yeah, if this ends up hurting us, then we had other problems already happening to begin with. We likely won't be facing Fiorentina in rapacious form again, not sure what else you'd want. I know there are the scars of Bologna from 2022 but, fuck it, hopefully we learned from it.

I predict it being harder psychologically rather than in footballing aspect. That Bologna fiasco will haunt us, and most of players of that squad are still around. It takes a great character to overcome such difficulties. Hopefully our players will remain stoic and don't shit their pants once the time comes. Viola dominating and looking sharp that day game was suspended, doesn't scare me as much as match postponing does though.
