Far better interviews than Manshitni.

He actually talks about philosophies and not players. Hopefully he will walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

Wow, such smart talking from De Boer. He knows what he's talking about and has a certain philosophy. I hope it will be implemented on our donkey players, because it's obvious he is very wise and knows a lot about football.

Yeah, hopefully he can revive our players. I don't believe our players are stupid, it's just that Mancini dragged them to oblivion with his non-planned football.

I like his honesty and that he has clear goals, he even said he'll work on the team so that by december/january we will already play like he wants.

Was that clause about us failing to reach CL allowing us to sack him ever verified?

With the current squad. He should be fired if we dont make it to CHL.

Lets be real.

Lets be real, he is trying to implement a completely new system on a bunch of players where the majority of the squad dont have 2 brain cells between them. He himself says he doesnt see us playing his brand of football

Im not hating. Im just saying with a midfield like ours a CHL spot should be guaranteed. Just like mancini won premier league with City. It wasnt his football knowledge for most of the time, but rather individual quality of the players.

So thats what im saying. Not hating or being smart ass. Just saying that with the players we have top 3 is a must. No matter the coach.

The straight up no nonsense statement from him which is the total opposite to Mancini's bullshit;

"Our objective is to get Inter back into the Champions League. There are no excuses."

our midfield basically consists of banega, kdog, brozovic, medel, melo. there is not even enough talent, no depth at all.

you forgot Candreva and Ivan Perišić as well up front Eder is starting to show his ability. compare last year we had no player with a caliber of Candreva and Bagega. I call it a big boost.

Candreva and Perisic aren't really midfielder. Even with candreva and perisic, we have no depth in our squad. no subs with equal capacity. In a season with thursday EL games, we will suffer without a back up.

I like what De Boer is saying. That is encouraging. Hopefully the squad can start implementing his ideas sooner rather than later, but we must give him time in any case.

I hope De Boer achieves top 3 this season. But if he doesn't, I hope Inter give him a full summer of transfers and training, so that we best prepared to achieve that objective next season.

I dont see our squad is a guaranteed CHL in the league.
Despite Jube, there are napoli and roma who has much more balanced squad than us.

Maybe our forward line is top 3, but our defensive line is disaster level compare with both teams. We have bunch of medicore RB/LBs plus dont even have a decent 3rd CB.

I dont see our midfield a guaranteed top 3 either.
On paper as Ed suggested, we currently have:
banega, kdog, brozovic, medel, melo

Banega/Kdog/Brozovic is our best combination on paper, but we all know it is not solid enough defensively.

as for Napoli they have Hamsik/Jorginho/Allan/Giaccherini/Zieliński/El Kaddouri,
Roma: Naingglan/De rossi/Strootman/Vainquer/Florenzi/gerson etc, just saying Naingglan/De Rossi are probably better than any of kdog, brozovic, medel, melo.

Our team is simply lack of balance, dont see we can "easily" walk into top 3 with any coach.

That's a very good interview. For me the best part was:

You can win only if the team is working. If someone picks up an injury, there must be the option of replacing him without lowering our performance too much. This can only be done if you're a true team.

That's how it should be. If there is a proper system and player who suits the system then the drop in quality can be negated.

Quite the opposite of Mancini. Mancini will say the only way to not drop quality is to buy me 30mil striker starters and subs.

Yeah exactly. To be more realistic, Mancini would say after losing a game: "too bad Perisic was injured." Did that quite few times.

Your mentality is really important when you look at mancini for example he says stuff like we are aiming for 2nd place then he says we are aiming for 3rd place what kind of message does that send to the players then they were happy we made EL like its some type of great accomplishment. So defeatist and I always thought that no matter what the players capabilities are if the coach is good he will get the best out of them look at conte with padoin and peluso and look at simone for example doesn't matter who plays for atletico they don't lower the performance of the team its incredible. Like Batman said mancini excuses about missing players is true and it exposes him as a clueless coach who relies on individual performances and add to that tactical vagueness , I am not an expert on tactical matters neither do I know much about it but when I watch a disorganized team with zero ideas on what to do with the ball I know sth is wrong tactically. Hopefully DEBOER knows what's wrong with us in terms of mentality and tactical ideas like pressing and build up from the back. FORZA INTER AMALA!
