According to Corriere, one of the reasons that made Suning sack FdB was that they wanted to show they can make important decisions for the club from distance despite yesterday Provera's claims. :palm:

Corriere lol.

I dont think its as simple as that

Football players WANT to have fun. They want to play sexy football. They want the press coverage telling them how good they are, massaging their ego. I think he failed to show enough tactical flexibility to actually implement the plan in a practical way (anyone who has ever managed a project here should know what I'm talking about), whilst still retaining the core philosophy and slowly integrating it

Poor guy. I really would like to have our HR's questions for Pioli in that job interview.

FdB wasn't the right coach for us. He is too young and inexperienced to come to a league like Serie A and train a team like Inter. Inter needs a proper coach with experience. I really wanted him to get his shit together and stay at Inter but, clearly it all was wishful thinking.

I think it's the right decision to sack him. Pioli as a caretaker is not so bad either. At least Pioli's style is similar to Frank's and we don't need to overhaul the squad one again this coming.

it says

"I am finished. For everything I've tried, we've sucked all the time. All the fans deserve better than me. Forza Inter"

"Its a shame that it ended like this. Bringing this project forward required more time. I'd like to thank all the fans for all the support that you've given me during these months. Forza Inter."

Fairly classy way to say goodbye, shame he went.

I wonder how some of the players who joined Inter because of Mancini (Perisic, Miranda, Candreva, Brozovic, Jovetic, etc) are going to react about being coached by Pioli... Inter may struggle to keep hold of the few good players we have, and will have to pay over the odds to get any good new players.

Fuck this management. They are running this great club into the ground.

You need to endure. This is how it works at big clubs. The highs are very high and the lows seem like own goals. But you have to endure.Or become an Everton fan if you want stability :D.

We brought some amazing new players in and a number of good ones will come in the future.

Bayern struggled a lot from 2002-03 onwards in Europe and sacked many coaches to get back to the top even though they dominated Germany but not to the extent they had previously.

Barca from 2000 till Rijkaard were a real mess.

Man Utd are going through a tough period now.

Real have always sacked coaches irrespective of results in the past.

Liverpool have had many many managers to win the elusive EPL.

Juventus went through a torrid time after Calciopoli and are still chasing the elusive Ucl.

Milan are as bad as us.

Valencia have gone from the highs of 2 back to back Ucl trophies to relegation battles these days and have seen many coaches leave.

Atletico Madrid from 2003 till Simeone always spent a lot on players and kept sacking coaches all the time etc

All big clubs go through this cycle.Fans must either be willing to cope up with the such lows [ and mind you we are not dealing with relegation which is the absolute low and in that sense fans of big clubs are very spolit] and realise they are necessary to witness the highs like we witnessed at the Santiago Bernebeau in 2010 or supports stable but mid tabe clubs.

I dont care, doesnt mean I wont support Inter. Just no need to think about this club's off the pitch problems. Come the games I will watch and support as always, but all the energy and anger for this stupid decision is not worth it, its not like it will change anything anyways.

I cant imagine many of them give a shit about Mancini. He was hardly a great motivator, nor was he really friends with any of them. At least Pioli has (AFAIK) a track record of getting the best out of Candreva.

For me it has little to do with the fact that we changed coaches so many times before. I would give him more time because when the players actually followed his instructions (jube game) We played a very good football same goes for some other games sadly in most we could not keep it up for 90 mins. But IMHO it s only the Atalanta and the samp game where we looked like complet shit and from my point of view that was because the players we re not following his Instructions and not because he gave them shitty instructions.
I mean the main problem was the distance between our df and our mid and that we were not moving as a team. Now fdb pointed this out as a problem in many pressconferences already so i dont see how this were his instructions leading to us play like shit.

Ofcourse these are all assumptions but thats just how i see it. And i for once am sick of our players acting like spoiled brats and not following instructions because the coach is demanding to much from them or because he has punished one or two of them.

To me that was the most shocking thing seeing our players not giving a fuck just walking on the field and acting like it s totally ok to lose against fucken Samp.

One of my friends actually was at the game (Not a inter fan) and he texted me right after the game that it was shocking how other than icardi and handa none of our players seemed to give a fuck about this game.
Also how does our mgm say after the shareholders meeting that they are 100% behind fdb and then they fire him like a week later and the fucken idiot who said he still belives in the scudetto also did not fucking help.

I really wish we d give matrix some kind of role at the club so he could bitchslap the players whenever they dont give a fuck like he did with balo back in the days.

I initially thought it was just a bad game versus Roma. That game was painful to watch. But since then we have always been sliced up with ease.Infact everytime Bologna came forwad at the San Siro they looked like they were going to score.Since that Roma game every game has been a clusterfuck at the back barring the Torino game but there too in the 2nd half Torino could have left with a point.

I expected him to change something but sadly nothing changed. De Boer even praised us vs Southampton and thought the result was okay whilst the commentator and me were losing our shit at how comical we were at the back.

The mgmt gave him about a month since that Roma game tbh but we continued to be comically bad at the back. They couldn't have just let us fall further down the table.Infact right now we still have some hope of making Europe.A few weeks down and that would have evaporated too.

If Pioli can temporarily fix the defense till January and we buy a few decent defenders whilst utilising the strengths of Icardi,Mario,Banega,Perisic and Candreva, i think we can still make the Ucl.Infact Lazio had similar players and did well that 1 season.Lets hope this works out.

It's the first time i am sad to see a coach go since Mourinho. I liked the football he wanted Inter to play but he didn't have the right players for that. If he was hired in June and chose the players he wanted, he would have much better results. Suning greatest mistake was that they chose to wait till drama queen aka Mancini decided what he wanted to do instead of firing him straightaway. In one of his first interviews, FdB had said we wouldn't see his Inter before January. As usual, Inter organization was impatient. If coach was the problem, as some say, we'll see a great improvement with the new coach, right?
Farewell Frank. I will remember you for that win against Rube.

I think we have been at this stage for a while now. Kondogbia's transfer was a good example. It was a desperate risk because we couldn't get anyone who had proved to be a good player already. It was one of the biggest failures. Inter sold Kovacic and even paid more money to get Kondo who is lacking the basic football skills.

Only results matter here, nothing else counts. No style, no philosophy whatsoever. If you want to see a style of play then go support Barcelona. We are a purely results based institution.
