Should we use the option to buy Guarin?

Still think he was one of our most underrated players.

I am happy that he’s underrated somewhere else now.

He was frustrating af to watch sometimes but I have a soft spot for him and always showed passion for the club. A boss in my books.

Are people seriously going nostalgic for Guarin because of a fucking 2 minute highlight reel?

Watching him play for us was like hammering nails into my eyes every Sunday, his shots into row Z, him being a headless chicken is all stuff we should not miss.

is he legally retarded? I heard Italy gives great benefits .

So many bad decisions from him today, and some of them even kindergarten footballers know better:

1) You never ever dribble in front of your own goal, what the hell he was thinking? Nothing.

2) You never , ever pass the ball back to the middle, when you have 1 teammate and 3 opposing players there, risking a counter attack.

3) You don't try to curl in a ball from 25m with your weak foot, when you have 2-3 teammates in good attacking positions. This is what we call the Icardi syndrome.

This is our captain boys and girls.

Why the fuck did we reject 8 million from Sevilla? He's a fucking retard.

maybe guarin is actually a genius.... his fake shot pass wouldnt work unless he spent 2 and a half years shooting from everywhere

Mancini in post match interview:

"Fredy has the physique to play central midfield. He has very specific attributes and it's not easy but he can do it. You need to use your brain in that role not just your physique. Pirlo and Verratti have shown that. So Hernanes could definitely play there too."

Basically saying Fredy is stupid as fuck.

Just went to a random page, which doesn't have too much nostalgia

Guarin was one of the notable midfielders in Europe before joining Inter. To his unfortunate he came to Inter when we entered the banter era. That Inter managed making the players like Vidic, Forlan, Podolski look shit. Please tell me which of the current midfielders can score goals like Guarin did for us bar Brozo, N9? I am not saying Guarin is the guy we are desperately in need of right now, I am just noting it's ridiculous how we downgraded from having players like Guarin-Banega to Vecino-Valero.

what's funny about what you wrote is that when we had guarin/banega here, valero totally owned us. Both under montella and under Sousa.

Matter of fact, I distinctly remember our 4-1 thrashing, with valero literally running circles around our midfield (with vecino, ilicic, badelj, kalinic etc)

Sorry bro, but you're on some real revisionist nostalgic shit.

well as a counter-attack I can tell you that with Freddy and Banega we had been raping the teams like Atalanta.
Players like Borja, Vecino are midtable team materials, understand it. They feel comfortable with everything there, thus they play better than what they display for bigger clubs

Meh, he was useful in some games, decisive in others, but he sucked in a lot of them as well. Still think he'd be waaay better than Vecino. Also Banega :(

Well i think freddy and banega actually proved to be midtable team materials also. Valero dominated our league for the best part of 3-4 years. Freddy barely dominated in portugese league for the best team at the time.

I love banega. I'm on record wanting him back when he was 21-ish. Probably was the best he'd ever played was at that age back in Valencia. Before he went loco and on-loan back home. Immense (and wasted) talent.

All in all he seems a nice guy, despite his weird fetish for jerking horses off. And he really loves Inter. So it's easy to like him once he doesn't play for Inter anymore.
