Okay Interisti, we're Inter, and if we have a coach for more than 2 seasons, than pigs must be flying, so all the signs point to Mancini to be given the flick at the end of this season.
Obviously, that is if we don't win the CL, we're Inter, so hypothetically think we don't win it (not really hypothetitical, but anyway)....

The men rumoured so far with positives and disadvantages:

RAFAEL BENITEZ
Positives:
CL winner, beat Milan.
La Liga winner, twice.
Has improved a long ball Liverpool, to a actual decent team.
Pretty average defence, turned them into a awesome unit.
Could attract some of his scouse players to come (Xabi Alonso, Gerrard??)
Has the ability to bring over big La Liga stars due to his reputation

Negatives:
Loves Liverpool, didn't he say he wanted to be the next Shankley??
Can't get any of his strikers to score.
Has a bad eye for strikers.....Fowler, Morientes, Crouch....?
Still miles behind Chelsea in the league.
Will cost a lot.

Rating: 8.5/10.

ARSENE WENGER
Postives:
Lead a Arsenal team to win the PL with no losses, unbeaten in 49 matches.
Can bring over Thierry Henry with him.
Taken on a powerful ManU team over the years, and won at times.
Done well in France with Monaco.
Plays good attractive futebol.
Manages to sell good players for HEAPS of money (Overmars, Petit)

Negatives:
Is French.
Never done sh1t all in the CL.
Sold his captain, bad eye.
They suck in the PL this season, qutie a bit has been on his shoulders.

Rating: 7/10.

SVEN GORAN ERIKKSON
Positives:
Done well in Italy before.
Done well in Europe before.
Could attract some English stars to join him (Lampard?)

Negatives:
Is another Laziale.
Is a total buffoon off the pitch.
Can be a moron on the pitch, some of his tactics and so forth.

Rating: 6.5/10

GUUS HIDDINK
Postives:
Holland 4th in 98, lost in penalties in Semi final.
South Korea 4th in 02 WC, incredible.
Australia qualified for first WC in 31 years, a impossible task by taking them only 4 MONTHS before the WCQ, on a part time basis.
PSV- won many accalades, but reaching Semi of CL, unlucky to lose last season.
Can attract heaps of Dutch players.
Done well everywhere he has gone.
Players have REAL respect for him.
Seen as one of the greatest coaches ever.

Negatives:
Doesn't really like to coach outside of Holland or national teams.

Rating: 9/10.

Thoughts people?

I think you will stick for another year with Mancini..
and then you should go for Mourinho or Benitez..

As for Mourinho...he might get bored of winning everything in England but losing twice in a row to Barca(Inshallah) ;), so in 2 years you might give him a real challenge: to win the scudetto with Inter.

If he really manages to win it with Inter, he is really the special one.

But you can't really blame Mancio..in every other year, Inter would be leaders or batteling for the title...you could blame him for all the lazio garbage maybe.

first thought.Mancini should stay for one more year at least.

Benitez would be great but he is doing really horrible transfers somethimes,Josemi,Nunes,Crouch :wallbang: at Valencia he didn't buy smart too.

SVEN GORAN ERIKKSON , with closed eyes

he knows Serie A .. and had a big success

the others .. umm .. I don't think they're alot different than Mancini

and Benitez is a second Cuper ( and knocked out by him twice in CL  )

but ..

I want Mancini for next season

at Valencia he took over a good team from Cuper..true..

but Benitez is a real master in tactics....he might be tactics wise even better than Mourinho. When benitez is down, he changes stuff in midfield and turns it around. When Mourinho is down, he plays Huuuuuth as a striker.

Hiddink is the best out of all 4. Just see how Australia will do in the World Cup. But I think it's highly unlikely for him to come coaching in Italy.

Mourinho will probably not leave Chelsea before he has won the Champions League trophy with them, and the he would have needed the motivation to coach Inter. Then we'd have to convince him and give him his money....

No, Mancini for one more year, at least. Continuity is a key.

Our problem is not with Coach, but our transfer policy (which maybe attributed to coach, but only a wee bit). I dont know why I have great respect for Mancini, and I would want him to work another year.
But if Mr.Moratti feels its essential to replace the coach, then Hiddink with out a doubt. He is great, better than Morinho IMO. Other than him, I would be happy with VanBasten or Danadoni.

Wenger nope, Benitez nope, Erickson HELL NO

Donadoni hasn't have the experience coaching big teams, so I don't think switching Mancini with him would make any improvement. Mancini isn't bad at all, and he actually brings the team great atmosphere and make everyone united in the team, I don't think we should get rid of Mancini this quick.

We dont need a new coach. And if we ever are gona get one id want Jose, probably impossible though.

I dont know whats you guys got wrong with Mancini? Like was said earlier our current points would be good enough to have us 1st in 8 out of the last 10 seasons. Juve wont be good forever.

And in about 5 years id love to see Zenga on our bench

edit: let me add

Rafa:yuck:
Arsene:yuck:

Mancio will be the man and that's all there is too it. Of all the options catanha named I only like Hiddink.

Novellino or Zenga are options for the future.

Sticking with Mancini but I have heaps of respects for Guus Hiddink. Even after PSV sold Robben, Kezman, Rommedahl, Van Bommel, Bouma, Park Ji Sung, Lee Pyong Yoe etc etc, PSV is still the dominant force in the Dutch League for the past few years. You gotta respect him for that.

Not only that, leading South Korea to the 4th place in World Cup 2002 is a big achievement(Let's ignore the scandal in Italy & Spain's game). How many coach in the world can lead an Asia team and get them through to last 8?

I think, Moratti should give another year to Mancio. As it was written on inter.it, this Inter is the strongest of Moratti era. And we show nice attacking football, with not so bad defence and excellent midfield.

I still trust Mancio. If the chanpionship will be played without any dirty games, I bet Inter will get the Scudetto with Roberto.

From the catanha's list I prefer Maurinho (though I hate him, but he's great in tactics and he has charisma, that we need)

Another very important aspect. We'll become 100 years old in two seasons, and I belive, Inter will be a champion in 2007/08 campaign (as it was with Bilan and Zac in 1999/2000). It might be interesting for some coaches to lead Inter to Scudetto after many years. And a lot of coaches can agree to come to Milano. Maurinho, Ericsson, Venger, even Capello i think.
