Real Madrid are leading the chase to sign Palmeiras hot shot Gabriel Jesus, according to sources in Spain and Brazil.

Brazilian publications Lance and Globoesporte says Palmeiras’ sporting director Alexandre Mattos is currently in Spain to speak with Real.

The player’s buyout clause allows Real, Barcelona, Man Utd and Bayern to secure his services for €24m.

CdS - Inter can close the Gabriel Jesus deal for €30 million. They are confident they will sign him soon.

Candreva and Witsel now, GJ via Suning in January - than we can sell Jovetic and Eder to balance FFP!

Witsel - 22m (Juan, Dodo, Santon)
Candreva - 24m (Jovetic and Eder)
Gabriel Jesus - free loan via Suning (30m)

Barcelona flew out to view Juventus transfer target Gabriel Barbosa, more commonly known as Gabigol.

Juve have been in negotiations for the teenage Santos hitman, offering around €20m.

However, Sport claim Barcelona director Robert Fernandez flew out to Brazil in order to view the player in action.

Gabigol was on target in the 3-1 Santos victory against Ponte Preta.

He is also in Brazil to discuss the situations of Palmeiras striker – and Inter target – Gabriel Jesus along with Lucas Lima.

Barcelona are believed to have a special rapport with Santos thanks to the Neymar transfer and could get preferential treatment for Gabigol and midfielder Lucas Lima.

This evening the Blaugrana chief should be present to see Gabriel Jesus when Palmeiras face Internacional in Porto Alegre.

He has release clause for Real M, Barca, Bayern set at 24m

If we want to get him over them we must offer high then 24m.

If Suning pay this (they will get him and will loan him here), i will be happy to have talent in our squad!

I'm afraid not to be another fake player from Brazil.

"Какви резултати ще ни донесе тоя палячо Кандрева? Много ти се моля, стига глупости. Днес пак се говори за Леонардо, даже и за Капело. Дано го разкарат час по-скоро тоя тумор Манчини и да си взима пропадняка Кандрева вкъщи."

Gabriel Jesus: It's all very clear, I will stay at Palmeiras until the end of year. Maybe even next year. I hope to return to the national team!

“No club is in pole position” for Gabriel Jesus, said the Palmeiras star’s agent, but the price-tag is €40m and “his intentions will be decisive.”

Inter, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the 19-year-old hitman.

“I don’t know if Inter have already got the all-clear from the lad, but I can say I have not had direct contact with the Nerazzurri,” agent Cristiano Simoes told FCInterNews.

“I just want to talk about what is certain, so we’ll analyse when we’ve got something concrete in front of us. There are many clubs interested, but none of these can be considered in pole position.”

Would Gabriel Jesus like to join Inter?
“As I said, we’ll speak clearly when there is something solid on the table. Don’t forget that clubs must negotiate with Palmeiras too.

“The price-tag is €40m, as that is his release clause. Obviously what the lad wants will make a difference. His intentions will be decisive for his future.”

40m€ is a ridiculous amount for a no-name like GJ. Neymar cost more but he was not a no-name anymore when he moved to Europe.

However, only chance for us (if Chinese are in it with the money) is to play the playing time card. We can't compete with big dogs like Real and Bayern other way.

No-name in terms of he has done absolutely nothing in European football or in international football. Comparison to Neymar, he was well-known player and had many NT caps before his move to Europe and Barcelona.

In South-American perspective, GJ is surely not a no-name, but we ain't in South-America.

I have to add that the market for these young, rising prospects is ridiculously pricey. Renato Sanches went to Bayern for 40m€. He has caps mostly in Portuguese league, few NT caps and European football caps (transfer was made before the Euros).

And why are they so pricey? Cause most of them becomes the future stars. And before people go all loco im not talking about talents in general cause its alot of them out there which doesnt end up becoming what many people thought they would I know that, BUT the tier 1 talents which doesnt come along that often very very rarely flops which Gabriel jesus in my opinion qualify as. Keep in mind were talking about people under 20 and its no guarentee but people arent stupid, its no coincidence that all Barca, Real, Bayern, United circle around them when they come along like sharks its not beacues they love Palmeiras so much and just want to throw money at them I can tell you that much.

Gabriel Jesus is at the top of the list out of whom talents are out there and we should count ourself lucky and pay that release clause and smile while doing it if we get the chance, cause the only reason I can see we even having a chance getting him against Barca, Real etc is beacuse of his fascination of Ronaldo which is his idol, and which also happens to own his image rights.

But yeah getting him would be pricey but I would rather do that 10 out of 10 than buying 3 mediocer players using the same amount which will all end up like deadweight which we cannot get ride of soon enough. Quality and talent over quantity all day long for me.

I agree, but in a world where a player like Higuain is worth 40-50m the top talented kid in Brazil would typically be sold for about 20-30m. So is it that unreasonable given that Higuain in the currently inflated market is probably currently worth 70-90m that they're asking for that much for the top talent in Brazil?
