I thinks these votes are terrible! Cordoba should be higher than Miha, Veron shouldn't be more than 5, C Zanetti and Cambiasso at least 7.5, Martins not less than Adriano. Kily 5?? Are they crazy?? At least 6.5!!

But I disagree that Cordoba should be higher than Miha. Although Cordoba made some unbelievable interventions, Miha was also very solid defensively and he was secure in clearing crosses. His 2 goals surely gave him some bonus points as well.

But to rate Veron, Cambiasso and C.Zanetti at the same level is simply incredulous.

I think Miha was good back there, but I feel Cordoba had to save his ass in a couple of occasions, just storming there to clear the situation. That's why I'd give a 7.5 to Bud and 8 to Cordoba. You also have to consider that his tackle on Montella was the equivalent to a goal.

Yes. Cordoba made 2 match-winning tackles. But goals are and will always catch more eyes than tackles, that's why Mihajlovic were rated higher. I personally rate both of them as the Men of the Match equally because they both won the match for us. But I wouldn't debate if Gazetta gave Miha a mere 0.5 point more than Cordoba. After all, that opinion is not too far-fetched from the truth.

Actually it would be nice to keep them in the same place. Then make an average of all our ratings to get a more balanced picture.

So yeah, you're all welcome to post your own ratings! I wouldn't do it for all the players, instead I would point out what you disagree with gazzetta and submit my own vote.

Right guys, in order to make this work, we need to use the same parameters as Gazzetta.

Their votes are similar to votes you get in school.

6 is the middle, not good, not bad, average. 7 is very good, 8 is GREAT, man of the match. Anything above 8 should be very rare, an exceptional performance. Something like Oba against Samp.

5 is bad, 4 is very bad. Anything below 4 should be used very rarely, only in case of a complete disaster. Something like Recoba when he plays in midfield.

So basically, votes should normally range between 4 and 8.

I believe Zanetti should've gotten a better rating than that, he was solid and played well in attack as well. Maybe a 6.5 would do him more justice.

Davids is lucky to get a 6, he should've been given a lower rating. He did nothing worth mentioning during the time that he played.

Veron was in my eyes the best player in the match, but for the last 20 minutes he ran out of gas so that's why he got a 7 and not a 7.5 or 8, which he should've had for the first hour or so played. But judging on the entire game, a 7 is fair enough.

Anyway, pretty reasonable ratings.

Mihajlovic deserved a higher rating and Favalli deserved a lower one, IMHO.

Stan should have the lowest score without any doubt and with no one sharing a score like his....

Oba should have gotten a higher score as he was key in our plays and constantly caused a headache for Milan and fould to our advantage...
