haha
Man U won the league 1x in the last 10 years haha in 2011 and 2013 but they said last Decade so that is 1x
FA cup 1x
EFL cup 1x

For 1.1 billion !! I don't know if this includes 95 million for Anthony that doesn't seem all that special he had 13 goals last season.

Man City at least went from total shit into a contender. That cost money

PSG is laughable because that was probably all spent In the last 5 years. I remember the year they got Neymar it was 227 million to Neymar and 180 for Mbappe.... which instantly made them 7th :)

DiMaria wasn't really a prolific goalscorer either, but he was still sought out by big clubs before bought by Madrid.

Antony is brought to be constant menace on the right wing, Ten Hag knows what to do with him, he'll keep sending crosses from the edge of the area and also stretch the opposition defence.

While the prices that EPL clubs are paying are horrible, I believe that Antony will be a far better fit for this United than Sancho. Maybe Sancho will start scoring more as a left winger now, because he is clearly not somebody who can create his own chances plus being on the wing with Shaw or that other young left back is probably a better fit

Chelsea are probably the most efficient spender on that list.
2x Champions League
2x Europa League
2x Premier League
1x Uefa super cup, Fifa club world cup
And multiple FA, EFL cups.

funny how they get shit on for bad spending and Man U spent 2x more for way less results. They basically paid 1 billion to find a new manager.

Of course they do.

The era they operate in has less elite talent than in previous eras and the big spending teams are hoarding more of the top available talent than ever before.

When you have such a high turnover of players and at the same time you're allowed to keep 60+ players in your books, you'll have a lot of bad transfers. But it wouldn't affect your overall picture that much.

When Moratti was buying like crazy he hoarded attackers but apart from 2-3 of them, the rest were just decent at best. We did not have the capacity to fill two lineups, we hardly had more than 6 world class players in the late 90s and maybe 10 at best in the mid/late 2000s when this trend began. And we were considered the craziest big spenders out there, especially until 2001.

Not a fan of Fabregas, but I think he gave some interesting points in this interview. The way current football is operating, the less interesting talents. Nowadays tactical systems and physique matter more than pure football techniques

Conte is the prime example of this. Look at what he did to Eriksen.

I agree. On the other hand there's no turning back from this change now, without a good coach a team can't prosper.

Helenio was maybe the first coach who started it.

You sure that's not the max attendance? Milan hosted the derby as well and we're yet to play vs Roma, Juventus or Milan at home.

I guess the title of crazy spenders has now gone to Juventus after its purchase of Ronaldo. At one time I thought Moratti was good at spending money, not building a star team. Real Madrid is better at it :)

you mean, spend smart with great scouting that adds players we actually need, not just big names for big bucks and big wages

Or otherwise tell me you're English without telling me you're English
The moment I saw Busquets a.k.a. "a very lucky to be born in the era of Xavi-Iniesta" ranked higher than the likes of Kaka, and JZ4 while Hagi was in the 100th place, I stopped clicking through the pages to see where the rest are ranked at.
